I'm loving the look of the Istanbul level. Especially the way we're getting a good idea as to what a traditional Bond film would be like in the Craig-Era. I am specifically loving the costume design for Bond. Style is an important part of his world and I'm glad they've brought in the costume designer from the movies, it makes it so much more authentic than the Boiler suits of the Brosnan games.

It's also fantastic seeing the DB5 in this game. Weirdly, I was thinking about the possibility of it being in the game (or even Bond 23) since Bond won it in CR and we haven't seen anything of it since.

As for the screens, they are most certainly looking beautiful.

Blood Stone has officially been rated T for Teen ( Alcohol and Tobacco reference, Blood, Mild Language, Mild Suggestive themes,Violence).

This is also great news, some of these elements have been lacking in past Bond games leaving them feeling a bit more like the Saturday Morning Cartoon version of Bond.

The Tobacco references sound intriguing, obviously it could be anything, but it makes me wonder if Bond will be smoking in this game. It's unlikely with the Craig era, and to the shock of many Bond fans I'd rather he didn't. But nonetheless it would be interesting.

I'm pretty sure he's wearing a Goldfinger-Grey suit in the DB5.

please show me or provide a screen cap. If Bond isn't wearing a suit in this game......bad form. Bad bad form!

I thought that, but I think it's the same outfit. Either way, on the Bloodstone website there's an image of Craig in a Goldfinger-esque gray suit. There's also one of Craig punching a henchmen on a rooftop, and it appears he is wearing either a tux or black suit.

Nah it's not a suit. It's a nice dress shirt with possibly a tie underneath a sweater. It's the same outfit that he wears in the rest of the trailer. I don't think Bond needs to wear a suit all that often, he just needs to dress well. Must say, the costume design for this game looks top notch. I still can't get over the look of that DB5 tearing through the modern streets of Istanbul. This trailer got me more excited than the Quantum of Solace teaser trailer. I'm not sure if I want to see too much more though. Don't want to be too spoiled!

Really is there a problem if Bond isn't wearing a suit?

Remember when Bond supposedly didn't wear any suits in 'Casino Royale', the film? And then spent half the damn movie in a Dinner Jacket?

It's a Bond game. He will wear a suit. Sleep easy.

Besides,a suit is compeltely impractical attire when you're going toe-to-toe with the Giant Tunnel-Boring Machine of Death.

I wonder if they will make this the same DB5 Bond won from Dimitrios?

I highly doubt Bond will smoke. Allies/enemies will be the ones doing that.

I assumed the tobacco/alcohol warning was encompassing for both, hand in hand, but not necessarily inclusive of both. So, we may see Bond sipping on a Martini, but that's it. Or maybe someone lights up a cigar.

I would hope so. It just doesn't make sense for Bond to get another DB5. I mean I find the likelihood of that pretty slim. However, it's a video game so it's not like it has to make sense. ;)

I'm just thinking that if this is a seperate adventure, the DB5 may just be an 'image', if you know what I mean. The gamer can make it be what they want and it's not explicity commented on. It would be nice to know what happened to it after Bond left for Miami, though. Shipped it back home, and around the globe, as his personal car or something I guess.

http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/111/1115549p1.html IGN was also very impressed.

If this game does really well, we could definitely be up for a sequel in 2012!

Finally had the chance to have a full read of this. My thoughts of the game being graphically enhanced have pretty much been confirmed, and I love how IGN have stated that Blood Stone has a unique look about it. I'm very much looking forward to more previews and reports concerning the game in the coming months. It should be a damn fun ride.

Also, I'm loving this quote from the interview posted earlier:
"Ok let's do it properly, we'll do the racing, we'll do the hand to hand combat, we'll do the shooting, we'll do the cinematics and we'll give it the big production values the game deserves."

I really think Activision want to redeem themselves with this. Quantum of Solace wasn't bad, but not as good as the likes of Everything or Nothing. Plus, since Blood Stone isn't a film tie in, they've got free reign. Lets hope they deliver us a cracking game.

That construction site is reminiscent of the construction yard in OHMSS.

Nice! I'm impressed by the new hand-to-hand combat moves. Most of them didn't exist in QoS and it seems that we have a bigger variety this time.

I don't mind the theme, its the constant M babbling over every trailer that irritates me.

I hope Dench doesn't get to run her mouth over the next film trailer.

Assuming that Istanbul comes immediately after the title sequence (M appears to still be in Athens when she gives the orders), it's amusing to note that if the building site is in the first action sequence in Istanbul, that the first post-PTS action sequence in all Craig's movies has featured a construction site of some sort.

M talking in Athens is the pre-titles. They've just cut it together here for the purpose of the spot.

I'm with you on this. Way too much M these days. Dench has become a co-star of this franchise. Enough!

Yup, it's two different speeches that they cut together. I really like Judy Dench as M, so her constant lines of dialogue are no bother to me.

I think it's exciting that aside from Athens and Istanbul, there's still Siberia, Monaco, Burma, and Bangkok for us to see. Plenty of locations left to visit!

This is something all trailers do: they don't just arouse our interests, they educate us about the world we are entering. Look at the trailers for INCEPTION: they gradually revealed more and more about the world of the film so that we as an audience understood some of it going in. BLOOD STONE is doing the same thing, and since Bond's mission briefing traditionally comes from M, it is M who tells us about the basic story.

But there is something ironic here - there's a generaly feeling that M should stop with the pop psychology and just go back to giving Bond a traiditional mission briefing. But when she does, you just hate it all the more. Make up your minds!

What's also interesting is, that Bond's outfit in Istanbul looks like the outfit Lazenby wore in OHMSS when he's finally captured by blofeld and put into the mech room.

Malcolm Tedworth? Sounds like an American's idea of what an Englishman might be called.
And why is James Bond dressed as someone's granddad? He looks like he's about to offer the baddies a Werther's Original.
