I know what you mean; I thought he'd lost a bit of weight when I started watching that. Hard to imagine Downey Jr killing those four blokes; seems exactly Craig's sort of role.

Yes. Worth the price of admission alone. Craig will eat this up.seems exactly Craig's sort of role.

Also love how Daniel Craig says three words in the trailer and has me hooked. I would like to hear more of his accent though. I'm also currently taking bets for guessing how long it will take for him to lose his shirt in the movie.

I was excited when I saw Craig, but for some reason I got chills when I first saw Harrison Ford in the teaser.
It's the most animated I've seen Harrison Ford be in a long time. He's just usually so insipid nowadays. You ever see him in an interview? It's just awkward.
This movie looks pretty awesome. I can't wait.

Wow...this looks...absolutely REDICULOUS AND STUPID!! (yes I'm being serious...)
Sure the overall look of the movie looks good but the concept is utterly dumb... Craig looks great..a nice tough part but I mean for me Cowboys and Aliens just DON'T mix... I'm MUCH MORE looking forward to seeing Craig as Mikael Blomquist in the English remake of "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo".. I'll most likely be giving Cowboys and Aliens a miss..or at some point may Netflix it..
Not a big fan of Sci-Fi flicks Dove?

Oh I am..but am kind of picky when it comes to Sci-Fi... Love the ones where the story and plot outweigh the visuals and eye candy..ala Alien, Back to The Future etc... Of course I could be totally wrong about Cowboys and Aliens, but right now I can tell that the story is just not one that holds a lot of interest for me.. Well, we'll see.

Why? What's dumb about it? It's an Alien invasion movie(there's about 500 of them coming soon to a theater near you btw)and it just happens to take place in the wild west(And isn't Roswell in the southwestern USA?). I love this idea-it's very John Carpenter/Twighlight Zone-ish. In this scenario there's no Pentagon, no F-16 pilots or Marines to battle aliens. This predates the theory of realitivity, the landing on the moon...etc. Think how scary this would be to them cowboys! This premise kicks

Respectable. The teaser doesn't really get in depth. I hope we do get to see the aliens. Or at least have some exposure to them in the second act.

I'm still wrapping my head around this unbelievable idea. If I understand this right (and I don't know if I do) there's cowboys.........and aliens!

As he's obviously an alien, what does it matter what accent he does?

Renegade alien, ain't he?

Already have seen one of 'em.

I can't tell if you're speculating or read the graphic novel. If it's the former can you spoiler tag? (I hope your speculating otherwise reading that was very unfortunate for me).

I'm hoping it was a guess too, because that's what I guessed, and usually when I guess something that means I'm wrong, because the filmmakers are typically more clever than me.
No, lads, I've not read the graphic novel. To be honest, this fantasy stuff and comics in general are just not my thing.
Just speculating upon what I've seen with my own eyes in the trailer. And the fact that Hollywood is VERY VERY predictable and rarely original. Which the context of Craig's character isn't. Consider old Westerns. Stranger enters town and saves/changes it. Chuck in some aliens to make is appeal to a more modern audience. Et voila.
