Megan fox "I don't want to be a bond girl"

Michael G Wislon "Good then have your agent stop calling me"

She is probably sitting on MGW's couch just like she sat on Michael Bay's couch.

...I did not need either of those images.

What a blow this must be. I spoke to Michael and Barbara the other day and they said that they thought the casting process was going well, but sadly not so well in the script department - even the first draft has yet to be finished.

Nice try Ms Fox, I'd suggest some acting lessons if you ever want to be in a Bond film.

In this article in the swedish Aftonbladet Megan Fox says shes not interested in playing a Bond girl in Bond 23 unless shes not a bad girl. She says that "it wouldn't do anything to her career to be part of the film"...well, something like that.

Megan Fox says no to 007

In other news, Bond producers seen celebrating.

I think she's quite nice actually. I also think she'd pull it off nicely. She tends to remind me of uhm what's her name, ah yeah - Melina Havelock in FYEO.

Yep, I wouldn't mind seeing her as a Bond girl.

Who cares if she said ‘no’ if she wasn’t asked?

Exactly. Sounds like another one of those cases where someone mentions Bond in an interview & they get a headline out of it. B)

Indeed.

Plus, there's no script for the film yet (they just announced who was actually going to be writing the thing about a month ago for crying out loud  ), so why do the tabloids think we're going to believe that they've cast a part that doesn't even exist at this point.

Everyone assumed bond 22 was Risico before Casino royale was out.

They did? :)

The only rumors that I remember hearing about BOND 22 being RISICO was the same type of tabloid gossip that we're currently discussing regarding Megan Fox "turning down" (although she was never offered) a role in BOND 23.

Why not? Fleming always gave his Bond Girls some minor problem that endeared them even more to 007, like one leg shorter than the other.

Am I the only one who finds some amusement in the fact that this is a family oriented forum built around a sexist, hard-drinking, chain-smoking, violent man with virtually no purpose for women beyond the act of sex?

As long as it prevents people from posting graphic descriptions of their wet dreams in a boastful manor, I'm fine with that irony.

She's a terrible actress, and too be honest, compared to many other actresses out there, she's definitely not the hottest. That being said, I wouldn't kick her out of bed!

To be fair, I have no idea whether she can act or not. A big budget toy commercial can't really prove her acting skills, since somebody forgot to give her a script.

Still don't need her in a Bond movie any more than I need Jennifer Aniston. Tabloid BS.

Transformers aside, she was bloody awful in that sitcom she was in. To be fair the sitcom itself was abysmal (though I still watched it a fair bit during my first year of uni, as you do) but she was brought in to replace another actress and was noticably far worse. She is also not very good in How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, although it's hard to tell as it's another film where an uncomfortable amount of screentime is given up to the camera learing at her. She seems to know what she's doing in the trailer for Jenifer's Body, but I would still like to see her prove herself outside of Bond before she gets shoehorned in it, though I still don't think she'd be right even if she did show previously unseen levels of acting ability.

It is ironic. I do feel though at 22 i apperciate 007 a lot more then i did at 16. (and this is due in no small part to Daniel Craig)

Am i the only one who wishes he could fast foward a few months to when we have actual rumours and possibly news regarding bond 23 which will bring otu discussion and debate etc.

Megan fox is attractive but i prefer in popcorn movies maybe i can see her even as catwoman but i must confess her in 007 i dunno... maybe as the girl bond nails in the pre title sequence but not much else.

of course if she is cast and i do enjoy her in bond 23 or 24 etc then so be it.

Frankly, I'm relieved. I have nothing against her and she's not a bad actress. But I think she is too young and too unsophisticated to be in a Bond role. In fact, I believe that casting Gemma Arterton in QoS had been a big mistake.
