BTW, What do people recon will be the end point of movie one?
I say Escape From Malfoy Manor and Death Of Dobby ends the movie.
What do people think?

If you're not that much into the series, how do you know about what you just posted?I wouldn't know where to start, Blofeld. I'm not that much into the series. Cursory interest only.

I'm only guessing that movie one ends there.
The Gringotts/Goblin bank break-in/break-out would make for a logical PTS to movie two, from what I have read so far.

I have only read 5/8ths of one of the seven books. That hardly puts me in a position to compare my beloved James Bond to the Potter-man.

Trouble is Harry Potter doesn't do cold opens...

No wonder I love the Bond movies more than anything else!

True, but ever since, it's title and BOOM film. Which I don't mind at all really. If every film had a cold open or lacked a cold open I'd probably go nuts. Well, more nuts than I am now.

I mean, would it be one Deathly Hallows video game, or two?
There would certainly be two different soundtracks...
I wonder, as an afterthought, if, when part II is finished, there'll be an "ultimate" edition for Deathly Hallows, in which there are both films with some added bonus features. Although I know that an ultimate edition for all 8 of the films is coming a little longer down the road......

A certain term comes to mind:
Milking.
Hey, James Bond has been no different in the past. No doubt the 00s will be seen as the Harry Potter decade 50 years from now.

I love how Radcliffe has longer hair, too. I loved his look in Goblet Of Fire. He never suited short hair, imo.

It also looks like the screenplay of that segment is different than the book (which i've now read about 5/6ths of as of last night) because Helena Bonham Carter is on set there.
So it definitely looks like they are padding things out in movie one.
Who here visits Harry Potter sites? Perhaps you can shed light on Bonham Carter being in dress on those dunes?

I feel that Dobby's death would be ideal to end Part I. The Gringgots sequence would start off the next movie as YATES said in an interview that Hogwarts will be featured fairly early on in Part II.

You know, I was worried as to the length of which Hermione has Bellatrix's appearance in the book, but from the look on Bonham-Carter's face, it should be fun.

I found this on Amazon:

If they did the tenth anniversary for this book, would they do one for the rest of the series?? I know that they did the "deluxe" HBP and DH, but would they do a 10th anniversary for the rest of the series???
Also, another quick question: If someone were to redo the Harry Potter films, many many years from now, would you watch them again???

As for the tenth anvs, they probably will do one of each.
As for remaking the Potter films, I would give Azkaban another go in theatres. Stone, Chamber, Goblet, and Phoenix would be pending upon reviews, both professional and what friends have to say. The last two would be a long way down the line. I never cared too much for the last two books, and the last film, while good, was still nothing fantastic, and I still think the last few moments after Hermione's last line just utterly kill the way the ending was moving, and it completely took me out of the film. Good thing it was at the end.

I would also love to see what a different director could do with the Harry Potter series. Mind you, it probably won't be for a LONG, LONG time, but I would go watch them over again. I would particularly like to see Azkaban made again (For example, there's a scene that I really hate: It's when the Whomping Willow shakes the water/snow off of itself and it splashes onto the camera. That, to me, acknowledges that there's a camera in the room and that someone's filming that scene.....Maybe it's just me.)
BTW Tybre, what was Hermione's last line???

In a new interview with EvannaLynchFans, Luna Lovegood actress Evanna Lynch talks about the Lovegoods and filming for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Which part of Deathly Hallows are you most excited about seeing turned into film?
I imagine everyone will say this-the walk through the woods and Platform nine and three quarters. It was such an experience to read, such a catharsis, I remember reading it for the first time and I felt like I could hardly keep up with my own eyes rushing across the pages. It will be so exciting to see how they translate that experience onto film, to see what someone else made of it. And of course the Lovegood house!! I have seen it being made from scratch and been in it and all around it and it is absolutely beautiful, much more vivid and detailed and alive than anything I could ever dream up even while reading the books. I hope they give it good screen time, it truly deserves it. I'm so excited just to see Mr.Lovegood in action. Luna has always been so different and jarring to those around her, it will be so nice to see someone with the same energy and hear his lines, you can't beat the Lovegoods for unpredictability.

It's true that Half Blood Prince's release was delayed by about 8 months - for profit-maximisation reasons I imagine - but I find it unusual that DH1 does not have a release date.

Looks like we'll be getting an ultimate edition for the Harry Potter films (Or the first two, at least.)

I hope to see a lot more footage, especially for Azkaban!

1) What did Dumbledore really see in the Mirror of Erised? Was it
2) Speaking of the Mirror, what does the engraving say above the mirror??? Does anyone know?
