Bond Scenes You Cringe at

A less obvious violation is Craig’s “You want to do what with me?” in CR. I don’t seem to get a lot of support for that one around here, but it’s an absolute cringe-worthy moment for me. Worse than ‘armor’ and ‘finger’ and anything else in the film. I have to brace myself for its arrival. It could easily find its way into the ice palace conversation between Jinx, Frost and Bond, and indeed I wish it would.

I've got one: In Die Another Day when Jinx dives off of the cliff backwards.
It totally looks fake and unrealistic.
That, for me at least, was even worse CGI than the infamous kite-surfing. Truly horrendous!

Anything with XENIA in. Famke Janssen is a solid enough actress, but should have been given something a bit better than some 1970's Pink Panther chanteusse who has an inward orgasm every time she kills someone (NOTE TO WRITERS - that doesn't work in film and will only make the actress look silly when she tries... as it did).
Agreed 100%! I don't get the fasincation around here with her character. Famke is very attractive, but to hear THAT noise coming out of her everytime she's on screen makes her probably the most irritating Bond character in the entire series! Even General Ourumov gives her a dirty look when they are shooting down everyone in the Russian complex in Severnaya!

The scene where Bond talks to Electra about his shoulder has to be the worst scene in a Bond film.

I agree. Bad as the tsunami-surfing effect was, the crap effect in this case was substituting for a (relatively) straightforward stunt. Cliff-diving isn't exactly unprecedented - couldn't the producers have TRIED to stay with the series' tradition of doing at least part of a stunt for real?

I'd say the Tsunami "stunt" is among the most dated moments in modern film history. You can literally get more convincing graphics on a PlayStation 3 today.

Any sex scene between Bond and Jinx.
The first time, when she cut the fruit and started eating it, I thought to myself, "Is she THAT bored? Or is she just really hungry?" Either way, it was a stupid moment.
The last time they do it, they're covered in diamonds. Now I'm not a doctor, but shouldn't that hurt?

As much as I sort of like On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, I don't like the little scene where they reference the Connery films. I understand that they're trying to show that the two Bonds are related, but that scene just doesn't work for me...
I liked that scene. I like the subtle nods that the Bond films contain towards the earlier films, not that forced junk that we had to deal with in DAD. The fact that they were trying to show that the two Bonds are the same is exactly why that scene worked for me.

I don't like that scene either. It takes the viewer completely out of the film and breaks the fourth wall, something that rarely works on film (and it certainly doesn't in this instance).
Other cringe-worthy scenes:
Any scene in TWINE & DAD
The "half monk, half hitman" scene in CASINO ROYALE
Anything during the second half of TND

I guess that goes a bit for some of the disco-like soundtrack choices in For Your Eyes Only as well.

The car chase scene between Bond and Xenia after the titles in Goldeneye always bug me. Not for the visual aspect of the scene, but for the way it was scored. It sounds so horribly dated and cheesy.

Ugggh! That may be the single worst music queue of the entire series! And that includes some of the generic techno stuff that David Arnold came up with for DAD.
I don't know how to describe that "music" during that car chase. Sounds like something a 12 year old came up with in his garage!
