I am primarily interested in the readership of the generally available original, official Bond stories.

I ought to mention that the reason I have the books but haven't read them, is that these days I never seem to have enough time to read them, although I do try to collect them so that in 9 years time (when I'm of retirement age) I can retire and catch up on them. I've also got and read Kipling's ".007", Christie's "The Rajah's Emerald", James Bond's "Birds of The West Indies", a couple of the Sol Weinstein Oy Oy Seven books, Andrei Gulyashki's "Avakoum Zahov vs 07" as well as many other books on Fleming, Bond and Connery.

For anyone who has yet to delve into the Fleming originals I can't urge you enough to get started asap. A very wise friend of mine was pushing me to do so several years ago (I always intended to but always got sidetracked) and once started I couldn't stop... (the climax to FRWL is still unbelievably tense and I'd love to know what the initial reactions were when first released) Once read they really make you look at the movies in a different light.

I can proudly say that I read every James Bond story written by Ian Fleming.
BUT: I never read anything beyond that, and frankly, I see no reason to do so.

PS: Oh wait, I did read the novelisation of Tomorrow Never Dies, but that wasn't exactly a thrilling experience.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Diamond Smugglers by Ian Fleming (but my ex-wife gave me Diamond Smugglers)

Young Bond series (but I own the first three books)

Devil May Care (but it's next on my list)

I read every Fleming novel (Casino Royale twice), short story, Benson novel and short story, Gardner novel, Colonel Sun, and all the movie tie-in novelisations by Gardner, Benson, and Christopher Wood.

Haven't ready any of the graphic novel/comic books stories.
