Secondary Bond girl maybe. Not exactly a terrific actress imo.

Is it just me, or does anybody else get a strong Gala Brand hit from Abbie Cornish?

She strongly reminds me of Lupe Lamora in Licence To Kill!

Megan Fox has been lined up to play a Bond girl — but she’s already turned down the role.

The Transformers star is said to have been sounded out by Bond bosses for a forthcoming 007 movie in which she would have starred opposite Daniel Craig as one of his conquests.

“Megan might be interested in a villainous role if it was a central part of the movie but she is not interested in being just your usual type of Bond girl,” reveals a source (another website stated it was her rep) close to the actress. “She did consider an approach but she won’t be doing Bond while she’s so busy with other projects. She might consider it again in a few years time.”

Fox, 23, recently denied claims she’s set to replace Angelina Jolie in the Tomb Raider movie franchise.

“That’s a complete rumor,” Fox said, referring to reports she was set to play Lara Croft. “I haven’t been offered that. No one has even spoken to me about doing that yet.

“I think that’s a role that Angelina Jolie mastered, and I would never attempt to take that over from her.”

Nope, it's because if something comes up this early on in production, before the script is completed, it's obvious to be a fake.

Anyway, back on topic, the woman who should be on top of Bond 23 should be LUCY LAWLESS, as the main villain - a Quantum agent vying for a Sarah Palin/Hillary Clinton-esque role in the government, whose plans are discovered by Bond. Lawless was clearly born for this role. And she's one month younger than Daniel Craig and in fantastic shape, so they could still get it on!
Lawless recently:

Lawless as Xena a few years back:

AND she's a Kiwi, so all the Yank haters have nothing to complain about. Additional women, whether as henchmen, love interests, or both, could be Jennifer Garner (possibly too famous), Lena Headey (not famous enough), and Famke Janssen again in a Maud Adams-like return. This would be especially popular.

It's tabloid trash. Given that both Eva Green and Olga Kurylenko really set a standard, there's no way they'd go anywhere near Megan Fox the Cardboad Box.

I hate to burst a few people's fantasy bubbles but casting directors tend not to be 16 year old boys which cancels out quite a few of this pin-up tartlettes.

I went to see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince last night and although the array of young talent was pleasing on the eye, the film for me was stolen by the performance of Helena Bonham Carter.

Insane and dangerous she exuded sexual energy with every heavy breath she took, therefore today's vote for Bond girl is

Two options for me:
Uma Thurman or Charlize Theron

Charlize, yes. Uma, please no. just dont think she could play the role. I love american actresses, but i am a little hesitant since the last two were garbage (Denise much more than Hale)

Uma has a lot more class and brains and talent than Denise. She could make a good Bond woman as long as the role isn't stupid. Still, I wouldn't want her in a Bond film with Craig because she's taller than him! B)

Good point i know the last movie i saw her in was kill bill and that superher/villian movie and no one can be much taller than Daniel unless he wears heels lol

Ok, so we're never to know the truth about what's quoted and what journos twist what been actually said, but, she comes across as a HUGH bee-atch.

"Being in movies like transformers isn't really acting."

"I'm a serious actress and I want to be taken seriously"
Really? Eat pizza for the rest of your life, throw out all your make-up, and stop taking roles that require you to wear slutttty hot pants, THEN we'll take you seriously.

Silly cow.

Forgot to mention my choice.

Well. From a womans perspective I do like Charlize and I would like the character to be Sth African like she is.

Ms Weitz was one of my faves to be Vesper and Marion Cotillard for Camille so either one I don't mind.

Yes. We've not had a blond as the leading Bond girl since Maryam D'Abo and Jill StJohn was the only leading redhead so lets get out the hairdye and give it to Rose Byrne.

An Aussie actress is yet to be in a Bond so it's about time don'tcha think?

Did Transformers hottie Megan Fox turn up her nose at playing a Bond Girl in the next 007 film?
Posted Image
Reports circulating online say Fox, 23, had signed on to play one of Bond's sexy conquests, but passed on the role because "she'd rather be a more central part of the movie."

Not so, Fox's rep tells PEOPLE exclusively: "The report about Megan Fox turning down a Bond movie is completely not true. There have been no discussions nor any offers. Megan is a fan of the Bond movies."

Meanwhile, Fox is slated to attend Comic Con in San Diego this week, to do publicity for her films Jonah Hex and Jennifer's Body.

Great link! I think there are more possibilities to find our next Bond woman here than Moneypenny! My money on Talulah Riley! Great figure and seems to have personality!

Oh, and about that Megan Fox; I think she missed her last chance to become really famous! Not that I don't like this!

Probably not too far from the truth, at 23 she maybe too young to play a meaningful Bond girl, and would rather wait for the next film to stand a better chance a bigger part
