In my opinion , I think the leading Bond girl should be Caterina Murino or Catherine Zeta-Jones. They are very pretty and they are good for be femme fatales. Murino was a Bond girl , in Casino Royale and a second time would be great.

I'm not suggesting an Solange retrun , but Murino with other character. I think Murino was a great Bond girl in " Casino Royale" , and is possible put a former Bond girl in a new character , like Maud Adams.

Too soon though, there were almost 10 years between Maud's two appearances, turning up again with only a one film gap might be a bit much.
I also think that Catherine Zeta Jones is a bit too well known to take on a Bond girl role now, Bond really needs to avoid bigger name actresses.

I finally got round to watching In Bruges last night and I'm thinking that Clémence Poésy has a lot of potential for a Bond girl. A talented, but still lesser know French actress, probably still best known to audiences from her role in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

Dangerous thinking there. :(

It all depends on the character though, if we don't know who she's playing naming actresses can be a little pointless.

I'm really open to the next Bond girl, after all we can't have the submissive weak girl who needs Bond to save her after Vesper and the strong female agent after Camille, it's way to soon. So.......I'd like to think that the new girl will be a Quantum agent, a hitlady who is hired to kill Bond after they find that one of his vices is women, Bond and M then capture the girl and have Bond work with her to get the badguys as she has valuable info, then the whole trust and paranoia element of QOS and FRWL comes back into play. That would be awesome.

There have been lots of threads like this before.
And I could name loads of actresses who I might like to see in a Bond movie, from Paula Patton to Penelope Cruz (maybe she's in the 'too famous' league).
A lot depends on the locations for the story. I would want to see some local star, even if she's not famous internationally.

You know what else we haven't seen in a while, a redhead. Seriously, we haven't had one since the Connery era, I think we're due.

I'd like to see the lead villian of Bond 23 be a female. We've never had that (except Elektra King, and even then she shares the lead villian position with Renard). Will be very interesting.

Gina Bellman is a competent actress who's easy on the eyes.

But please, no Catherine Zeta-Jones. Let's have a Bond Girl who can act.

There's a few names I've thought of, that I feel fulfill what Eon's probably gonna be looking for, especially after the past few films' leading ladies. My top choice would have to be the beautiful Yvonne Strahovski who stars on one of my favourite shows Chuck, and has proven she can do the emotional stuff and the action stuff all while still looking hot! Plus, she is Australian (which, hopefully Australia will be used- but I've been wishing that for a while), but plays an American perfectly and can probably play a character from almost anywhere. Other names I would suggest would have to be Rachel Taylor (another Australian and my favourite of the ladies from Transformers) or Odette Yustman (from Cloverfield, and although American, which I was hoping to avoid, but she could work).

Some suggestions(by region):
China(my dream location for B23):
Li Gong
Zhang Ziyi

Spain:
Paz Vega (She impressed me in a little movie called "10 Items of Less" and she is incredibly sexy. No doubt to her potential, imo. Should be interesting to see her in "The Spirit")

France/Belgium:
Audrey Tautou
Bérénice Bejo
Cécile De France

Italy:
Monica Belluci (more mature than the more recent JBG, but still sexy and talented. Could also be the main villain or femme fatale)

Australia:
Rose Byrne

UK:
Kelly Brook
Rachel Weisz

USA:
Alana De La Garza
Selma Blair
Lena Headey

My favorites are Gong, Belluci and De La Garza.

Some good suggestions. Out of those listed, the ones I would most want to see cast in a Bond film would be Paz Vega and Rachel Weisz.

Here are some suggestions of my own:
Diane Kruger
Olivia Wilde
Yvonne Strahovski

Monica Bellucci, yes.
Britain's Saffron Burrows, though EON might think she's too 'old' for the part.

While I would prefer to keep really famous faces out of Bond films, Charlize Theron would be great.

Evangeline Lilly of LOST, no, not because I don't like her, but because I identify her so much with LOST, I wouldn't want to see her anywhere else for the moment.

Which actually raises the question, how old is too old? After this recent run of 20something Bond girls it might be interesting to see Bond with someone closer to his own age, or even older. There are plenty of women over forty who are still incredibly hot. Monica Bellucci has already come up here, and have you seen Famke Janssen these days (not suggesting bringing her back, just making a point)?
I'd certainly like to see a Bond girl who has the same veteran edge Bond has.
