Never underestimate the shallowness of the pockets on a tight git such as I.

I'm sure the barman could use some help washing all those glasses that are stacking up.

You're offering to do all that washing for me? Thanks, you really are a swell guy and a credit to these fora.

Announcement: Our own AMC Hornet has booked this lounge for his summer wedding reception. AMC has kindly put me in charge of planning the evening's festivities and finding the stag film.

It's a toss up between "50 Shades of Grey", "Yank My Doodle, It’s A Dandy!" and this thing here:

5._Bambi_(1942)_(Diamond_Edition_2-Disc_

Don't see why we can't watch all three, but AMC - cheap git that he is - will only foot the bill for one.

Since I just turned 40 last week, I thought this Lounge would be an ideal place to celebrate!

Actually, I already started the festivities by drinking the Bollinger 2002 "James Bond" Grande Année. What a treat!

I still have some left... anyone wants to join? Maybe the Lounge will stay open a little later, hey?!

I'd love to, Admiral, but I find Bollinger - with the addition of the Chardonnay - a trifle too 'scented' for my palate.

Happy B.D. anyway, and let me know when you start slumming with Taittinger or Moet et Chandon.

Happy Birthday!

May I join you for a drink?

Please do!

First round's on me (actually, the others also...).

They unfortunately ran out of Dom Perignon 2004.

I think I should have a word with the bartender, eh?!

I've just ordered some prawns, salad and bourdetto, if anyone wants to join me?

I am hoping the Lounge of Solace does weddings. We had ours recently at SPECTRE Island and feel we should recreate the photos as the Polaroid let us down on the day.

Is everyone well and enjoying the new Fiona Fullerton Wing?

Splendid, couldn't be better! Let me, on behalf of the crew and the members of CBn, congratulate you! All the very, very best to the newlywed! Have a great life together!

Well, I hope you´re ready for work - because with SPECTRE due in cinemas we will get lots of gratuitous lunacy here.

On behalf of the new Mrs. Hornet and myself, congratulations to the bride and groom.

Sorry for the mess in the Stag room - my self-appointed 'best man' didn't tell me that he expected me to clean up after his impromptu cabaret act with the lampshade and fire extinguisher.

It is only called The Fiona Fullerton Wing as a foam party sort of got out of hand and selfies of a hell of a lot of Tchaikovskys ended up getting us temporary closed down. But - like Bond - we are back!

Bookings are now being taken for the Christmas buffet and dance which will be held on the 5th February due to that little licensing skirmish.

May as well hang out here while waiting for my invite to the new message board.

(sound of me twiddling my thumbs)

(looks out window)

(checks to see if AMC paid my his bar tab yet)

(checks to see if the liquor cabinet has been re-stocked)

(expresses surprise that it's empty)

(back to me twiddling my thumbs)

I'll worry about that later. The mailman just dropped a letter through the slot. Addressed to Zorin Industries. What the hell, he's not here any more. Let's see what it say. (rips it open). Dear Zorin Industries, the CBn administrators invite you to the new forums...

(looks around, nobody has seen me open Zorin's personal mail.)

(On my way out I pass AMC Hornet.)

Me: Hi AMC!

AMC: Sod off.

Me: I just got an invite to the new forums. Oh, by the way, there's a beautiful woman behind the bar who needs convincing that Die Another Day is a great Bond film. Don't mind those ominous sounds. She's got tummy trouble and she's sitting it off.

AMC: Well, gee, thanks mate!

(AMC goes in. I stop on steps to listen. Pretty sure I hear what sounds like AMC screaming. His screams stop. Then something else sounds like it's chewing and then burping. Now who am I going to get to pay my bar bills?)
