I watched Casino Royale (1954) today. Somewhat less than superb. But it's the only Bond available for instant play on NetFlix.

On Her Majesty’s Secret Service followed by the For Your Eyes Only PTS. Actually a very good way to show it to viewers who haven't seen the Lazenby Bond film yet.

OHMSS works very well now, first few viewing left me jarred. The action scenes are quite unique. I don't fancy the psychedelic lighting at times and ruffled tux, but it's the 3rd best Bond film ever made. I still can't stop watching DAD. I am watching it at least 3 times a week.

Wow, DAD at least 3 times a week? That´s... well, good for you. Maybe I should give it a spin, too.

I admit I haven´t seen any Bond film for about a year now. In 2010 I had re-watched every Bond until the Craig era and decided to give it a rest in order to not make it stale for me.

Now, I think I will give QOS another spin since it I´ve only seen it three times yet.

Oh. Only three times. What a nerd I am.

The Man with the Golden Gun Ultimate Edition with the Roger Moore commentary. It's my first UE which I bought since there was a scratch causing pauses and delays on my SE DVD TMWTGG. I must say, I'm really impressed by the UE digital remastering look of the film. I thoroughly enjoyed Sir Rog's commentary and would like to hear his commentaries on his other 007 adventures. I like how he commented at the end he thought The Man with the Golden Gun was good. He says it was his 1st time seeing it since its premiere. My only disappointment with the UE DVD is it didn't include the deleted footage of the Bond vs. Scaramanga gun duel at the end. Now, I'm debating whether I should buy UEs for TLD, TB, OHMSS, OP, MR and YOLT or wait to purchase a blue ray player, then buy the blu-ray versions.

Casino Royale & Quantum Of Solace, back-to-back. It's funny, I love both of them, especially Casino Royale. Yet I found myself enjoying Quatum Of Solace a lot more on this viewing. I guess in a way they're two different films, and I was in a Quantum Of Solace mood rather than a Casino Royale mood.

Have you considered professional psychological help?

QoS has this odd phenomenon of being better on DVD. Hated it in theaters, sat down and watched it on a laptop with no distractions and it rocked. Go figure.

LOL I am most certain my madness is well contained. :dizzy: I did buy DAD on Blu recently and enjoying it to the max. Yes Halle Berry is flat in her performance but somehow the action and Rosamund Pike has got me in spell. I can't break free. Mind you when this movie came out I saw it twice in US cinema, once in Singapore, and Sri Lanka.

I think three times a week is too much for ANY movie. It'd certainly take my enjoyment away. I like leaving breaks in between watching movies. To me, it makes the next viewing that much better as there is so much that you have forgotten about in the mean time. Still, to each their own. I know Die Another Day wouldn't be the Bond I watch three times a week! ;)

I have to agree, but when I am in the mood for Bond I will watch over and over again. Sometimes it feels like am watching for the first time, other times I am dreaming of the changes they could have made with the movie. Strange attraction to DAD though. :)

Moonraker. The first time I watched a Bond film on my laptop computer. Such a fun and light Bond film that draws the viewer in and takes him for a fun ride around the world and into outer space. As fond as I am of Bond films in the On Her Majesty’s Secret Service/ The Living Daylights/Casino Royale vein, I'm glad the lighthearted ones like MR exist as well to make for a pleasing variety in the series.

Still watching DAD on Blu. I can't seem to get pass this movie. :) Maybe I am smitten by Rosamund Pike. I even like the tittle song now.

Diamonds Are Forever, UE DVD.

Just noticed the oriental guy Bond throws out of the window in the teaser, the one saying "Cai... Cai... Cairo", has a bruise in his forehead.
And that Ted Moore's photography is pretty good.

The World Is Not Enough

Strangely enough, the only Pierce Bond movie I can watch nowadays is Goldeneye, and even then...

Last one was TMWTGG, still one of my personal favourites  Las before that was Thunderball (probably my favourite after FRWL and OHMSS)

 4 very good choices from the classic Harry Saltzman era.

Moonraker. It was my 10 year old nephew's first Bond film and I thought that would be a good pick. He enjoyed it and exclaimed during the space laser battle "Cool! That's like Star Wars!"

From Russia With Love

I can't help love it when Grant tells Bond "not till you crawl over here and kiss my foot." Watch an entire movie just to listen to my favorite line? yup.

Well I've watched them all again over the past month (just wrapped up on Thursday) but I am watching some of my faves again so today I watched FRWL (the best bond ever) and TND (not one of my faves but a lot of fun, great film in Hamburg and the HALO dive, utter crap after)

I am currently doing the series in order, so I just finished up with Diamonds Are Forever the other day.

When I have some time, I will continue on with LALD. It's going to be tough, while I love Moore as Bond, viewing seven films in a row with him can be tough (and yes, I am watching them in order, no cheating).

just watched goldeneye 2 nights ago. I've been playing the QoS game for XBOX and am now really in the mood to watch Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace back to back, but my copy of Qos is a poor quality bootleg. must buy real version of QoS and have a craig marathon NOW
