the collectors edition encompasses a lot of extra footage but for ten dollars more i dont think its worth it, considering i have probably scene them all.

True. I'm still deciding which version to get. I'm certain both versions will be the same, menu wise and gameplay wise. I'll probably get the Collector's Edition, though. I want to get the full QoS game experience.

I think I'm going to have to pass on spending 10 extra bucks for footage I can watch on youtube the week after it's out.

If it comes down to that, I like the standard cover with Bond holding the machine gun a lot better. I think that will end up influencing my decision a lot.

As far as I can tell it's not coming out in the UK. But we are getting it early, Oct 31st rather than Nov 4th.

I hate the way "Collectors Edition" almost always seems to translate into "comes in a tin". You can never fit the damn things in the DVD rack!

Hmm from what I hear from my friend who pirated the game (very bad of him..i'm going to buy it), it sounds like the PC demo was very short and very cut off because the rest of the game runs really slowly on less than great PC specs. That's very dissapointing.

That having been said, I've played through the first level and returned to the main menu, and I've yet to locate any of this collector's edition content. Perhaps you have to beat the game first.

On the 360 version, the extra content is on a second disc included inside the tin case. Sure you aren't missing a disc there?

So far the only thing I can guess that might be the extra "exclusive blu ray content" might be this MI6 Debriefing menu in the unlockable section, which at a very casual glance looked like it had a couple render shots and artwork and the interior of the Aston Martin. I'll play more of the game and get back to you.

Got to the Barge, so I'm guessing I've got about three levels to go to the end. Still no sign of any of this "Collector's Edition" content. If this disc is a misprint I'm going to be very angry.

Is there anybody who's beaten the PS3 CE of QoS or anybody who has any additional information?

I've beaten the PS3 CE twice now, on the "Agent" and "Field Operative" difficulty levels (I think they're called), and so far, no sign of the bonus material.

Fortunately, I only paid for a regular edition of the game, but due to an error on Best Buy's part, got the CE, so I'm not really losing any money. I'm going to next attempt to beat the game on the 007 level, so I'll see if anything shows up then.

I would most certainly agree. In fact, and this probably should be a whole new thread, but was anybody else disappointed with this game like I was? They hyped it up so much and I feel that it falls way flat. I almost prefer the EA Bond games to this one.

There should be a second disc with bonus content. This second disc is a Blue-Ray disc that contains 10Gb of additional content.

Me too. Although, I was fortunate - I had pre-ordered the standard edition from Best Buy using In-Store Pickup. I went to the store to get it on Tuesday, and through some kind of error, they ended up giving me the CE.
