Hmm, interesting. Hopefully the "Collector's edition" has something more than the usual 'making-of' featurette and a shiny cover!

I can't help but think this Collector's Edition is a cynical scam to get an extra $10 out of hardcore Bond collectors. If its got something worthwhile on it, I'll probably pick it up, but its going to have to be more than the usual standard interview with game designers and "concept art" and whatever other filler they have lying around.
I remember Everything or Nothing came with a FREE bonus disc that featured a making-of, some music tracks, and an interview with Brosnan. You know these days they'd charge an extra $10 for that kind of thing and call it a Collector's Edition!

Ah yes, I forgot about that. The promotion for Everything or Nothing was probably the best out of all the EA Bond games.

Information will come through as time goes on, naturally. Activision will be looking to impress with their first entry, so I'm hoping for something meaningful on there.

I'll probably be picking this one up aswell. I hope it includes the Soundtrack, I seem to remember that the Tomb Raider Anniversary CE did.

I hope that the Collector's Edition will be released in Austria!

It would be cool if it includes a Bonus Disc, CE-only weapons/level or a poster.

Not sure of the huge 007 logo, but it is quite nice. Minimalistic and effective. I like the use of gold. It's a breath of fresh air compared to just giving us a film poster.

In my opinion the box art is very special because it's the first Bond game CE ever so it has to be something new and it is. Gold is the perfect color for this CE.

I'm beginning to think that the cover listed as the CE is just a slipcase, and inside the slipcase will be the standard cover art. The cover listed on Amazon looks more square than a standard game box.

Quite possibly. That would be a better arrangement. I actually now prefer the standard cover that has the poster image, but a slipcase would be the best of both worlds.

the collectors edition encompasses a lot of extra footage but for ten dollars more i dont think its worth it, considering i have probably scene them all.

Anyone know where I can pre order the special edition for the UK? The BBFC have passed it today (the 23rd) so it must be out over here at some point.

True. I'm still deciding which version to get. I'm certain both versions will be the same, menu wise and gameplay wise. I'll probably get the Collector's Edition, though. I want to get the full QoS game experience.
