Would you care to elaborate what this new trailer shows?

Chimera01 would've seen either trailer 1 or 2. Trailer 3 is not being shown before The Avengers just yet.

Trailer 3 is out next week isn't it?

Trailer 2 is out and about - with the exploding football field, and opening national anthem being sung by the little boy.

Can't wait for this 3rd trailer - really think this Dark Knight film will be an amazing movie, a fitting end to the 'trilogy' and I can't wait to see more of Bane and how he pans out...! Lots of exciting film developments recently, we are lucky!

I like both trailers. And I must admit, Bane scares me since he seems to scare even Batman...

He does look very intimitdating but I bet we've not even seen anything of him yet. Could be a very powerful, memorable performance by Tom Hardy!

I can't even decide if I think Batman survives to the end of the film or not...it's that dark!

I saw the AVengers movie yesterday, with a dark knight trailer.

Afterwards I knew I would not see the new Batman in cinema Superhero's are supposed to be fun and no way is Nolans broody and dark vision going to be fun like Whedons excellent superhero movie.

That has been my problem with the recent Batman movies they are just not fun enough for me to spend any money on.

Cuz it should be a fun/light time watching Batman avenge the murder of his parents....

Yes it should. It's a bleeding hero movie, not Brecht.

I'm looking forward to seeing the explanation scene with Morgan Freeman about the Batwing, if there is one. I always thought Freeman's scenes are like Q scenes.

Wicked. The new trailer. The link didn't work for me here is one I used.

HOLY S#$T!! Man, this new trailer looks absolutely kick-[censored]!! I'm sad that The Dark Knight Rises will be the final Bale/Nolan Batman film, but it looks like we will be in store for one helluva bang as a way of ending the trilogy..

And this might be one of those rare cinematic trilogies in which the final chapter is not only good, but perhaps the best of the three.

All the TDKR trailers were magnificent. This one is no exception.

And I must admit: Even though I want to see PROMETHEUS, with every new trailer I get the feeling that it is just an ALIEN remake instead of something absolutely new.

TDKR, however, really moves everything forward.

One of the BIG questions is now however...will 'The Dark Knight Rises' crush 'The Avengers' at the box-office? Who will win!?

I guess TDKR has a slight edge over THE AVENGERS because Nolan/Batman draws not only the younger segment but also parts of those people who do not like comic book films.

Absolutely blown away by this trailer. Seriously, I've watched it ten times and still get chills when Zimmer's score kicks in. I think it may gross about the same amount as the Avengers. Both are going to be huge. SAF is right, though, the Nolan Batman films bring in people who aren't swept in the superhero genre as well as those who are.

We should be getting a new poster soon I think now after this beast has been unleashed. Time to ramp up the marketing after May 4th once 'The Avengers' is out both sides of the pond.

Bit gutted though about the lack of stand out lines from Bane. Just thinking to 'The Dark Knight' and in the trailer the lines that Joker had. Of my head...

"Why so serious?" "Let's put a smile on that face!" "Good evening....Comissioner!"

All we've had from Bane so far is "Gotham's reckoning." "Your punishment must be more severe." and "When Gotham is ashes, you have my permission to die."

....actually, seeing them now, they're not too bad! I can't wait to hear/see more of Bane, they are keeping him pretty contained at the minute. I think we're under-estimating him!

Can anyone hear what the hell Bane is saying? Because i can't. And also, check out real Bane ( inaudible mumbling at 0.34) and dubbed Bane later on, hilarious!

I don't know, this latest TDKR trailer left me a bit 'meh'. Hathaway seems a bit wooden as Cat Woman, and the opening "There's a storm coming..." has been said a million times, most recently in Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix i believe.

Give me Skyfall any day.

Strong opion there PPK! I think that trailer is just a breath of fresh air, never seen a big summer blockbuster with such a quiet, moody and totally atmospheric trailer as this. Usually it's all loud, bangs and fast edits...so that gets my vote for one!

I think Bane is clear enough, given he's wearing a mask. It adds a bit more to his mysterious personna, his animiality almost.

Hope it does pay-off though.

But yes, 'Skyfall' will not be beaten!

Great trailer and at the moment i am cheering on Tom Hardy's Bane, absolutly brilliant and once again i think we have a villian who could be the star like Ledgers Joker in TDK. Loving the superman punch by Bane during the fight with Batman

More than ever, I definitely think Bruce Wayne will die in this. There's even some foreshadowing in this trailer -- "You don't owe these people any more. You've given them everything." "Not everything....Not yet." What else can Batman possibly give to Gotham but his life? We've been told that this is the conclusive ending to Christopher Nolan's Batman saga, and what could make it more final than by killing off Bruce Wayne himself?

I do believe that the Batman legend will live on, however, with Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character taking on the mantle of the Bat by the film's end. Remember Ras al Ghul's words in "Batman Begins": "If you make yourself more than just a man, you become something else entirely...a legend." The man can be destroyed, but the Batman legend can live on forever.

Here here....Batman as the figure can't die, but Nolan can certainly let Bruce Wayne go if he wants.

Very excited for this, and very pleased nothing has leaked or been blabbed about the ending, how it all ties up! Look forward to going in near-blind!

TDKR will have a lot of game changing moments. It will be phenomenal.

Don’t read if you haven’t been following the film heavily like me and want to guess on your own.

JGL as the new...

Yes, I think the new trailer pretty much makes that clear. Which would be most interesting for the next Batman films.

And I bet Warner would not have let Nolan leave the franchise without a plan for the future.
