I think Batman Returns may be the worst of all

Batman returns was like 2nd best (aside from Nolan's realistic universe batman). Val Kilmer would have been a great batman, he just got a bad movie. Tim burton should have returned and kept continuing the series, he was perfect with his film-noir for batman.
Now the absolute worst was George Clooney in Batman and Robin, both a bad batman and film.

Now as for the Dark Knight Rises, I wonder how alberto falcone will fit in also with bane and selina kyle. (Robin is completely out the picture, nolan said so, and bale wouldn't be returning if he were. What gest me when you look this up people are like he's going to be playing this that or the other thing and they have totally disregarded the fact that nolan has said specifically these certain villains and/or allies won't be in the film).

Nah, I dug it when I was a kid, even when I saw it again a bit later, but I found it just flat out useless when I saw it a year and a bit ago. Maybe I was in the wrong mood or soemthing, but I don't think so. The Schumacher movies are rubbish, but not as frustrating.

I'd be fine with this as the offical villian lineup of the dark knight rises of course not metioning the one to 2 scene villians nolan often used (like Lau and Gambol in the Dark knight)

What I liked very much in TDK is that we saw Batman fight a foe he fought in the previous film: there's this sense of continuity you get in the actual comics, where Batman inevitably fights the same guys again and again. So, having Batman face someone he already faced, instead of only new-villains-because-it's-a-new-movie was quite clever. I hope they keep it that way in Rises, irrespective of the plot and the villains newly introduced.

Nolan really likes sticking with the same people doesn't he? Can't complain, the guy does surround himself with staggering talent. Hopefully this one isn't too bloated. I doubt it will be, though.

I was just gonna post this I knew Levitt would be playing th mobster of DKR i had assumed Albert Falcone but they went for Black Mask which i'm happy about.


though this again proves my theory that if you want to know who is in the next batman film pay attention to who is being reintroduced in the comics

That's what I heard as well. Alberto Falcone, Talia al Ghul, Selina Kyle (who is heavily implied to be Carmine Falcone's daughter), Bruce Wayne, and the fact that third movies in a trilogy usually deal with family... I see what they did there.

And it appears Juno Temple might be up for the role. Given the unnamed character's description and Nolan's decision to jam-pack the film with "Inception" holdovers, it's a wonder he doesn't just use Ellen Page instead.
