God I hope this ISN'T the title.. "The Property of A Lady" sounds more like an episode title of "Murder...She Wrote" or "Colombo"!!
Agreed. This is a fine title for a Bond short story, but NOT a Bond movie. With that said, I'm not going to boycott it or start "PROPERTYOFALADYNOTABONDMOVIETITLE.com" page if they go with this sad title for a movie.

That theory doesn't work for James Bond films. Average Joe goes into the theater and says, "Two tickets for James Bond, please" regardless of what its title is.Property of a Lady (if, in fact, that’s what B22 is to be called) will have the same impact on Bond as Craig’s hair did.
Exactly the same impact.
Actually, titles can effect the box office of a movie if it is perceived a certain way. The title sounds more like a chick flick.

Of course, we Bond fans use the correct title and sometimes we even add a little:True Righty, though the three times i saw Casino Royale in the theater, I made sure to say "One for Casino Royale, please!"
"One for Casino Royale (2006) starring Daniel Craig as Ian Fleming's James Bond, please!"

I can see it now, "Two tickets to Prop...er...James Bond" please.
Actually, when I saw CR, I asked for two tickets to "Casino Royale". I don't trust the teenagers today who work the ticket booths to know anything above a 2nd grade level.
True story, after I saw Bourne Ultimatum, a teen working at Subway said, "Yeah, I want to see that movie too, but I think Jackie Chan is getting too old for action films."

Now THAT is a great idea for a Bond movie!

Here's the list of titles that had no relation to Fleming in any way:
- Licence To Kill
- Tomorrow Never Dies
- Die Another Day
Sense a pattern?

Awesome! I'm in. We'll need a second site up to get the movement running. Casinoroyaleprofitmarginallahoax.comWell, if they name it "Property of a Lady" I predict that "Property of a Lady" will tank at the box office - just like Casino Royale tanked because Craig had blonde hair.

Okay, you're right. I got carried away. But I'm thinking "First they have a blond Bond, then they name the movie 'Property of a Lady' - what next? Bond wearing a pink silk shirt?" It's just all too feminine for me.
