Title edited to include word "possibly" given that as it stood, colossally misleading until/unless this is confirmed

Would that be "Risico"?Better that restaceo or however the hell you spell it.. if I can't remember what it is as a huge fan, there's no way the average movie goer is going to remember or care!

"The Property of a Lady" would be a good title... if Richard Gere was James Bond and Julia Roberts was his Bondgirl.

Ok, I'm not to sure if this is right or not, but according to my local radio station which i was listening to this morning, whilst eating my cornflakes
, all I heard on the radio was "Bond 22..... The Property of a Lady", and nothing more else was said on the subject, it could of been latest news, or just passing conversation. I'm not to sure. But I think we have a title.

Please God no!!!! So help me even I could come up with something better than that.
Oh well, so it looks like it all hinges on Vester's necklacy crossy love knotty thingy then.
Unless the property in question is her Croatian boyfriend. Or something else entirely different, that hasn't occurred to me.

That is correct. Elements of the short story were used in the movie of OCTOPUSSY, namely the auction of a Faberge egg at Sotheby's.Wait, isn't Property Of A Lady the title of a Bond short story? I know I've read something with that name but I can't quite remember.

Is this the story that you saw about The Property of a Lady? It's actually referring to the sale of a Faberge egg in auction this week. Nothing to do with the movie sadlyJim also posted something about the Property of a Lady though if you scroll back a couple of pages, but I can't access the hyperlink so maybe he has heard the same news from a different source?

I think Property of a Lady is a perfectly fine title.Ok, I'm not to sure if this is right or not, but according to my local radio station which i was listening to this morning, whilst eating my cornflakes
, all I heard on the radio was "Bond 22..... The Property of a Lady", and nothing more else was said on the subject, it could of been latest news, or just passing conversation. I'm not to sure. But I think we have a title.

Vester is actually typing error code for Vesper, I clearly don't read back my own posts! Also, I didn't know about the short story which is a surprise to me I thought I had heard of them all. So I withdraw my remarks, well maybe not some of Fleming's other titles have been a bit wet. Please God no!!!! So help me even I could come up with something better than that.

Well Property of a Lady is the title to a Bond short story that Fleming wrote, but it was partially used in Octopussy.
Sounds to me like the radio station picked up on a Bond fan rumor.
Also, who is Vester?

Surely the love child of Vesper Lynd and Uncle Fester would be evil and bald... Wait a second... Blofeld?!I thought perhaps Vester was the love child between Vesper Lynd and Uncle Fester from the Addams Family

God I hope this ISN'T the title.. "The Property of A Lady" sounds more like an episode title of "Murder...She Wrote" or "Colombo"!!

This title wouldn't work in the U.S.
It would have to be changed, just like License Revoked was.
Half the population over here just has no idea what a "lady" is!
