Why are we all so obssessed with how actors and actresses look? Oh well . . .

Anyway, I saw tonight's mid-season finale. Quite a big moment for Michael's relationship with Fiona . . . and his attempts to rejoin the CIA.

To some extent it looks ridiculous to see actors with bloated expressionless faces.

The summer finale was great. It didn't end the way I expected it to, which isn't a bad thing, but it's a nice set-up for next year.

I enjoyed the finale while I also despaired at 5 months of no new Burn Notice episodes.

Am I the only one that cringes when they throw their Irish accents out there for all to hear?

I might have cringed a bit especially when Fiona would just drop one line in the Irish accent. B)

The finale was awesome, with Michael's darkest moment--a near-Bondian cold-blooded kill--and some terrific moments with Fiona. I grow more and more impressed by how this show has genuinely evolved from one season to another.

Well well well it looks like the dirtbag boyfriend from this season of 24 is taking a turn in Burn Notice as well. In any case, I'm happy to see Michael back.

AND Mike Novak!

Forgot to set my recorder for last week. Here's hoping that the second episode makes it possible to catch up. How was it anyway?

Very very good dodge. I enjoyed it quite a bit. I have to say, BURN NOTICE may be my favorite show of all time.

Wow!
Gabrielle Anwar is 40! I'd have thought late twenties to mid thirties at most. What a beautiful woman.

She's very beautiful, but if I had guessed it'd be 37.

Well, she was the 'love interest' in Teen Agent was back in the early nineties. So, forty wouldn't be too hard to believe.

Happy belated birthday, Fi!

Seems like season 3.5 is flying by - only 2 more episodes left before the finale. The storyline with Gilroy & that flight is getting interesting.

Interesting article/pictorial re Donovan's fitness routine in one of the new men's mags. I was interested to learn that he chose the regimen deliberately to create the sort of physique that was required for the role: something that conveyed real physical presence, especially in the fight scenes--yet which allowed him to blend in when required to play the harmless fool. This addresses the real problem that I've had with Craig/WonderBod: he looks buff as all get-out but, for a professional spy, that would really work against him. Go, Jeff.

One more episode to go, eh? The last show was wonderful with a welcome dark twist at the end. Can't wait to see who the heck the new psycho villain will be.

I've been trying out Donovan's routine and I have to say that it isn't as easy as it looks. The shadow boxing is really exhausting if done correctly, and diamond pushups are a pain. Still, it's a great way to work out and doesn't take long at all. Highly recommended. B)

About to watch Thursdays ep right now, looking forward to it.

Agreed. Didn't see that twist coming. I've been digging this season. The build-up with the Gilroy story has been quite good. The finale looks like it will be interesting to say the least.
