Personally I don't believe it. I read the interview and ended up tossing it because I personally found that it had little substance. It came across more along the lines of Craig and the interviewer (a personal friend by the way) having a big laugh. It was very hard to tell how serious he was.
Loved the cover though.
Lots of laughs?

Reading reviews of THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM, it strikes me that, far from being an OCTOPUSSY-style laughfest, BOND 22 may, to use the old expression, Peel Back The Layers in a way we've never seen before, by touching on Bond's motivations for doing what he does.
The films DR. NO - DIE ANOTHER DAY just show us how he does it, while CASINO ROYALE also attempts to tell us a bit about what kind of a chap he is. Assuming that this will be explored further (and, with the likes of Forster and Haggis onboard, I can't imagine that it won't be), it occurs to me that we've never seen a Bond film in which we get a sense of why he's in "this mad business" in the first place.
I know, I know, James Bond doesn't need to be "explained", but, hey, it's a reboot, and they've clearly got the talent, so it might be an interesting direction. I don't by any means say it should dominate the film, but perhaps BOND 22 could create a bit more backstory for our hero and then touch on it suitably lightly and stylishly.

I really hope Haggis, Wade and Purvis keeps the same kind of humor as they used in Casino Royale for Bond 22.
Like that scene where Bond and Vesper sitting back in the car:
Bond: "Dont worry... Your not my type"
Vesper: "Smart?"
Bond: "Singel"
Or that sequence where Valenka has drugged Bond, and he survives and gets back to the table:
"That last hand... Nearly killed me"
Please keep it that way
