- Bond's expression "the big picture" during the torture scene (as a reference to the dialogue with M) shows so much that he is willing to sacrifice himself, even if it's just to make Le Chiffre cooperate with the MI6 after he failed to get the password. Remember, that's his only motivation despite being sure Le Chiffre will kill him after he got what he wants.

M: 'Did she ask you anything?' (or whatever)
BOND: (looking away) 'No.'
M: 'Not your name? What you were after?'
BOND: (still looking away) 'No.'
It was a really normal scene but I just loved the delivery and acting from Craig.

I also really liked the little guitar hit, reminiscent of the Bond theme in the scene when Bond is tailing Vesper. It's at about 2 minutes in 'the switch'...at the part where Daniel is checking his P99.

Also the "pre-title" fight/killing scene - really gets your heart pumping!

Eva Green in the main title sequence - OUTSTANDING idea
Le Chiffre's smile after Bond makes the quip about the blood from the tearducts
Anything and everything with Valenka
Vesper's introduction
Many more, but those are just a few...

- asking for the valet ticket after winning the Aston
- tossing the Range Rover keys aside
- his smile at Miami when the cops are holding him down
- and I particularly appreciated how polite he always is. Did you notice how often he said thank you for drinks, etc; his delivery of "Thank you, I will" in the Hotel Splendide lobby (and thus flagging up how great is the contrast with the line about giving a damn...)

"so we know where he is..you want a clean kill or just send a message?"
what I liked about this is that up till that moment he is still the blunt instrument, he doesn't think beyond the obvious yet, his skills as a spy are not fine tuned yet.

- They seemed to go to further lengths to make Solange's corpse look more horrifying than usual for Bond films. It made a good difference, IMO.
- The design was fantastic. If you doubt that, think about the exhibit in Miami.
- The spark of Obanno's machete against the P99
- Uh, Bond with actual injuries on his face?
- The length to which they designed Vesper to physically match the novel
- Giving M a "bed buddy"
I'm sure there are even more, but I won't bog you down.

Ah yes, I was definitely the only one of my friends to pick up on that.

- The Poker game with Dimitrios. "Oh, the valet ticket".
- Leaving Solange. "what? No, for one!".
- Le Chiffre's cold look while Bond takes his 'dirty' drink. He's just waiting and it looks so cool.
- Bond's reaction when they tell him that his heart will stop in two minutes.

Also, the way Campbell shot the pre-titles itself. The framing, the lighting, the angles, the look of the black and white, everything. It's too good to be true. The only complaint I have with it is I wish it was longer!

Actually, there's more moments in 1m of this movie than the last 13 Bond movies cobbled together.

he sists up looks at her and asks
'are you ok'?
the she says
' you are not seriously going back in there' (or something like it)
he says
'wouldn't dream of it'
and
'that last hand nearly killed me'
and m's shouts of
press the damn button
absolutely classic

"To the right! To the right!"
"You died scratching my..."
I just thought they were brillant in terms of letting Bond tell Le Chiffre to piss off without saying it.

I'm sure someone else will say it but the lines of...
"To the right! To the right!"
"You died scratching my..."
I just thought they were brillant in terms of letting Bond tell Le Chiffre to piss off without saying it.

The "to the right" line, really cracked me up. This line showed that Bond had balls, even if they were been beaten up.

The embassy shot shows Craig can act even shot from behind. Find me one other actor who can play with his back turned to the camera and eat the scenery, just for laughs, CNB haters hahaha

and speaking of the Madagascar sequence, I just love the way Craig is standing, leaning against the wall with his arms folded when we first see him. This may seem like a laughably minute detail but it is the small details that speak volumes. By doing this, Craig is presenting a Bond who is completely confident and in control. It's amazing how much he just oozes *BOND* by doing this...
Not minute at all. These are the things that make the Connery and his earlier films what they are. The best.
I love Craig's underwater acting. I feel the panic in him to try to get the elevator door open.
I love the face to face glares between Bond and Dimitri when they're locked in that "who's gonna get stuck with the knife" battle.
I LOVE Craig's expression when he gets double-bluffed by LeChiffre and knows he pushed his ego too far and lost control of the game. You can literally taste the acid building up inside him. (Ok, not literally.)

It's not minute at all...I loved that and I loved the way he kept doing it until the very last second when he suddenyl dashes off. So cool.
