I've noticed as others have that, 'BOM' have not given out a figure for CR today (Monday).
I contacted them and their president Brandon Gray came back to me with this response.
''We have not stopped tracking Casino Royale. On Mondays, its latest
grosses
will be updated until Sony has stopped tracking it.
Casino is just no longer being tracked on a Daily basis -- please note
that
only 40 or so movies are tracked Daily, while the Weekend chart
generally
has over 100 movies''.

Just under 157 million people wen't to the cinema in the UK last year, down from 165 million the year before, and the lowest since 2001 when 156 million wen't to the movies.

probably due to a slightly optimistic estimate from
the Chinese take.
However below is a midweek international figure from
'Variety'
''Sony's looking to continue cashing in on "Casino Royale" in China, where the eight-day total as of Tuesday hit $6.5 million. Foreign cume is $417.8 million; pic has matched "Spider-Man" as the 21st highest foreign grosser of all time''.

As predicted, Sony's "Casino Royale" surpassed 2002's "Spider-Man" and now occupies the No. 21 slot on the all-time international boxoffice chart thanks to an estimated $2.8 million on the weekend from 1,305 screens in 33 markets. The overseas total for the latest in the James Bond series is $420.9 million.

Any word on CR's US numbers? BOM seems to have some gaps in their figures.
I'm trying to figure out the current worldwide number...
'JW' BOM have just posted the US actual figures for the weekend.
CR's total is now $166,275,268
together with the international figure of $420,900,000
makes around $587,175 mil worldwide.
NOTE: The international figure is an early estimate, the exact figure
should be quoted by midweek.

'JC', for reference BOM told me that CR is now only being tracked in the US by Sony on a weekly
basis, i.e daily totals are now not published as they are quite small, and the weekend figure is
only published Monday evening (UK time).
The reason i get the figures promptly, is that i have years of tracking films BO performance, and
know when the results are published by various sources.
Should find out tomorrow the exact latest BO take for the UK!!
EA
PS: Missed one point though BOM give CR's INT total as $420,578,860, which is slightly lower than the weekends estimates by the film media. Will have to see how this compares against the official figure
from Nielson EDI when released later this week on sites such as 'ScreenInternational'.

The only results I trust are yours. I posted the HollyWood Reporter Results because neither you, nor Qwert had updated the results.

US film trade sources 'VARIETY' and 'THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER' as the film is well out of
the top ten internationally now.
However BOM may have a foreign update for CR on Monday or Tuesday.
If not i should be able to post a figure for this weekends foreign tally for CR,
as long as its in the top 40 internationally (which it should be), either Tuesday
or Wednesday..............Dont expect much though, probably $1.5mil at best.

As expected there was no news on the international figures for CR this weekend from the

the top ten internationally now.

Too bad. I miss those Sunday nights when you'd tell us Casino Royale made $30 million for the weekend.

-------------------------------------
North America:- $166,720,794
International:- $423,632,200
TOTAL:- $590,352,994
For reference UK total now stands at 55,389,963 pounds (around $108 mil dollars at
current exchange rates).
The delay for BO this week is due to holiday weekend in the US.
The US figure includes Monday.
The official figures from 'screeninternatinal' for CR in the international market
are slightly better than earlier estimates 'BOM' posted.
CR has dropped from 18th position to 31st position in the 'international' market this
week, so we may only get one more weeks BO report for CR, as the BO source only quotes
the top 40 films.
CR now looks that it wont reach the $600 mil mark worldwide, but who knows?.
I will keep updating the figures as i find them.
For reference the US market had a stronger figure for CR this week, as, as i have reported
previously the weekends theatres counts were increased over there, to maximize BO before
the film leaves the theatres.
Regards EA.

We're, ops, CR is so close it's a shame it doesn't manage $600 mil total box office.
Of course it's going to kill on DVD and Blu-Ray and I'm sure it will play a long time on cable, airline inflight screenings, motel ppv and other outlets.
Sony, EON, MGM and everyone else might make some $$$ on this little pic. What do you think?

Casino Royale is now the highest grossing movie worldwide of all time that never hit #1 in the US (it is #6 on the domestic list of "movies that never hit #1).
That's a pretty interesting little bit of trivia. Did pretty damn well in the long run.
