Change that to second-best Bond and I'll agree with you (I'll always prefer Connery, no matter what).
You bring up an excellent point - it's amazing how fun Roger is to watch, despite the fact that he's utterly unbelievable. He's not a believable womanizer (I find it very hard to believe every woman melting into his arms, perhaps harder to believe than with every other 007), and he's certainly not a believable fighter in any of his fight scenes.

Not a believable womanizer? I feel that Moore's Bond was more charming than many of the other Bonds. As an example, take the way he seduce Solitaire or Anya (on the boat). Those scenes perfectly demonstrate "the magnetism" Moore's Bond has. I think many women could fall for that.[/quote]
I don't buy either of those scenes, honestly. There's just no raw masculinity or sexuality to his character - he's charming, to be sure, but I could hardly see women falling into his arms. Connery, I could see it. That man's a powerhouse of sexual charisma.
