Disappointed by lack of YKMN and Bond Theme, though. You can understand the rationale. Bond Theme we already have in infinite versions, YKMN will be released elsewhere, so they've devoted as
much room as possible to the original score.
Better than a bunch of music vids, eh?

As far as missing tracks--this could be another TND scenario, where the CD only covers the first half of the film and then we must wait for a 2nd volume, bootleg, etc. Personally, I hope not, Sony Classical CDs are usually fairly packed with film music, judging by their other score releases, so keeping fingers crossed. Wonder what'll happen first (duh): CD release, or score makes it way to the net!
Hopefully they'll release a full score, as they did with TND. Shame they never did it with TWINE or DAD, but surely CR should deserve a complete full soundtrack.
The track titles do seem a little dodgy.
But i do hope they'll include the full legnth trailer music on the cd aswell. That fust ing rocks

Plus, I wouldn't conclude that the torture scene isn't on the OST just because of the track titles. Actually, I wouldn't conclude anything from them. Those things are often misleading on score soundtracks because there may be several cues edited together for one track.
About the title song missing: first of all, if it is indeed missing, I find that choice very good. Not only because I wouldn't listen to it anyhow, but because it makes more room for actual score.
But there are two other possibilities. One is that it's been moved to the end credits, although I don't find that very likely.
Another possibility is that it has been combined with actual score, and it just isn't labelled yet.
Something like "License 2 Kills (feat. "You Know My Name" by Chris Cornell)" maybe.

A good point, and I hope that is the case. However, based on the titles we have been given so far (and the knowledge gained from having read the script), all of them can be aligned with specific scenes from the movie.Plus, I wouldn't conclude that the torture scene isn't on the OST just because of the track titles. Actually, I wouldn't conclude anything from them. Those things are often misleading on score soundtracks because there may be several cues edited together for one track.
Overall though, I don't mind which tracks are on the actual released soundtrack, just as long as the music for the movie is of the high quality that I'm hoping for. David Arnold has spoken of a different vibe to the Brosnan era in his music, and I'm excited by the possibility of discovering what it is.

Not quite sure how official this is - it has a couple of spelling mistakes and no Chris Cornell/You Know My Name track (which is supposed to be the Main Title song!!) Also - quite a few areas which we have heard about - seem to be missing (no mention of Venice, any aircraft or the torture scene?) We shall see.

i think this track listing is either incomplete or partialy false.
When DAD was released, the first track listing that appeared on the web was the following:
Track listing
1. Die Another Day Madonna
2. Bond vs. Oakenfold Paul Oakenfold Remix
3. Gun Barrel/On The Beach
4. How Do You Intend To Kill Me Now, Mr. Bond?
5. Hovercraft Chase
6. Kiss of Life
7. Peaceful Fountains of Desire
8. Welcome to Cuba
9. Jinx Jordan
10. Wheelchair Access
11. Jinx And James
As you can see, the final one was a bit different.
David Arnold just completed the score two or three day ago so i think that we will soon have the right track listing.
And don't get wrong. the main theme WILL BE on the Soundtrack as track N

Again, more misspelling on this HMV site.. i.e. they list the final track as " The End of an Aston Martini!!" WTF??
To be honest, that may not be a typo. It could just be a small play on words, combining two of the main things related to 007 (aston martin and the martini) together - therefore coming up with Aston Martini.
And going by the name of the martini drink Bond orders in this film, and the fate we all know of the car (and other things...), the track name does seem to fit...somehow.
But I'm most likely hilariously wrong. Actually, I know I'm wrong - but it's an idea.

Perhaps YKMN will be released purely as a single? Would make some sense - as far as I can tell, releasing the title song and the soundtrack separately could only boost revenues. I'm all for it if it means more soundtrack on the soundtrack CD.
Or it could be double disc

License 2 Kills - This at first glance sounds absurd...most likely pertains to the pre credits sequence when bond makes his 2 kills to get his license to kill
African Rundown - Action sequence involving the construction site and large crane
Miami International - Action scene at the airport
Dinner Jackets & Dinner Jackets - Dinner with Vesper
Stairwel Fight - Self explanitory
Bond Loses It All - Bond loses the poker game
Dirty Martini - Venice Finale with the large building being leveled
The End Of An Aston Martin - The Aston Martin crash as bond goes after vesper

This could be legit.. the more I think about the track titles the more I believe it to be the real deal (but we'll see). It's also definately possible that this isn't the complete track listing and I wouldnt be surprised at all if a few of the names change, we see the addition of YKMN, or a completely different tracklist along the lines of what happened with the DAD tracklist. Alot of the track titles are most likely plays on words and at first glance sound quite rediculous. I'm sure some of you have thought about / noticed this already, thought I'd go ahead and post it though. Here's a basic breakdown that I came up with tying a few of the track names to scenes:
License 2 Kills - This at first glance sounds absurd...most likely pertains to the pre credits sequence when bond makes his 2 kills to get his license to kill
African Rundown - Action sequence involving the construction site and large crane
Miami International - Action scene at the airport
Dinner Jackets & Dinner Jackets - Dinner with Vesper

Bond Loses It All - Bond loses the poker game
Dirty Martini - Venice Finale with the large building being leveled
The End Of An Aston Martin - The Aston Martin crash as bond goes after vesper

It may require a spoiler tag, but what makes you think 'Dirty Martini' will be the Venice Finale? I was really hoping that music would be in there, and the titles did suggest to me it wouldn't be. You have given me hope!

Just don't draw conclusions from these pieces of information. That's all I can advise... I think the current plans for the release are very generous considering the things that happened to previous Bond scores (TND and DAD in particular).
this IS exactly what happened with TND...

I'm sorry to say that it's nothing but a hunch at this point...Dirty Martini could be anything really.

Seems slightly odd that the soundtrack would only cover two-thirds of the movie
That specifically I could see happening based on alot of the previous soundtracks (Tomorrow Never Dies stands out as a main example). But I don't think this is the full list either. No title track just seems odd.
