I think it's a real shame. Especially as Arnold is working on this one and it's probably going to feature instrumentally in the movie.

I would be more happy if they included that song as an easter egg on the upcoming DVD... well-hidden!

Seems like amazon did indeed screw things up and place the Casino Royale'67 info under there previously (the tracklist is still there).
But at least we finally have it on amazon.

19 bucks? WTFever. Beyond the track listing being the '67 film as you pointed out the price is screwed. It has to be.

meanwhile I'm still terrified that we'll be getting the abreviated soundtrack. I hate to say it, but I almost look forward to the soundtrack more than the movie itself!

Why do you say that, K1? That seems like a pretty normal list price for a CD to me.
Where do you buy from? Most new releases I purchase range from 10 to 14 bucks. I know some of you say "5 bucks, big deal," but everyone has a threshold. You know what, I'm not even worried because this is clearly the list price and rarely are CDs sold for that. For instance. I'll bet come November you see a reduced price. Or if not here, then Best Buy or something.

How many people who own a Bond soundtrack use it to listen to the title song? I know I dont, I have a Bond CD with all 21 themes on it (used a compilation, and got Cornell's theme off the net). Works just fine for me. I only listen to the soundtracks if I want to hear the music from the film.

Yes, exactly my point. It's just a list price. I hardly ever pay that actual amount for a new CD.

Ditto... It seems that they're always on sale when they are first released...
