I think it's really sad that John Barry is having a sour attitude about the newer Bond flicks. But I can understand his reasoning. I just hope that someday he could watch Casino Royale, I'm sure he would enjoy it, even slightly.

I agree, SilencedPPK.

I also think that, as Bond fans, we want as many people as possible to like the movies, including those who worked on the older ones.

Perhaps Barry's sour attitude is due to the fact that he was not able to score those two films than anything having to do with (his percieved) quality of the recent films?


Was he ever in the frame to do Goldeneye, does anyone know?

I heard they were considering him for Tomorrow Never Dies, but when Arnold's "Shaken & Stirred" album came out they took notice of him? My minds a little sketchy but I remember hearing something along those lines in a documentary.
