I heard You Know My Name for the first time today in any form during the opening credits of Casino Royale so I am now ready to comment on it.
When the song was first revealed, there was quite a bit of negative backlash to it that after reading everyone's comments I felt that I would be inclined not to side with those who did not like it. But now having heard it, I must say that I DO like it. (Having it played over Daniel Kleinman's awesome titles I'm sure doesn't hurt.

) It does sound Bondian and probably would make my top 10 Bond songs. (I need to hear it a few more times to be certain.) It's not at the very top of my favorite 007 themes, but I think it's safe to say that it's in the top half.
The only real problem I have with the song is that I find most of the lyrics incomprehensible. It's even worse than a-ha's The Living Daylights (which I too like). I'll need to read over the lyrics to try to follow along with the song to understand it better. Other than that, David Arnold and Chris Cornell have my kudos for a job well done in writing the new Bond theme.
