Yeah exactly. That's how I interpreted it.How come Dryden knows what the second will be like? Is he supposed to have resigned himself to the fact he is going to get killed by Bond?

It's not a spoiler but one small detail I noticed...
Awhile ago there was a thread about how there has never been rain in a Bond film, but it looks like "Casino Royale" will change that!
There is actually rain in OHMSS. It is raining outside gumbolds office.

Yes, but I think there is more to it than that.

In the trailer the guy says "Don't worry, the second is..." Then Bond shoots him and says "yes, considerably." Can anyone who's read the script confirm if the guy finishes what he says. As it is in the trailer it doesn't make a lot of sense even if we know what is meant. Wouldn't it be rather rude for Bond to kill him before he finishes his sentence.
He doesn't finish it. If he were to finish I'd say he was trying to say "the second isn't as bad as the first".
Or, "the second is much easier."
"yes, considerably."
Edit: I seea lot of people beat me to this...haha...nm

Question; When Bond is sitting with Vesper in the shower, it looks like he's wearing his tux. This should be long after the casino scenes so what is the occasion for Mr. Bond being so dressed up?
Now looking back on it, perhaps I'm confused? Does the shower scene take place after the stairwell fight? When people would talk about it I would always mentally place the scene after the torture sequence for some reason.

That's where I assumed it was.

See, now there are some movies that I don't want to know a thing about, going into the film, like jackass number two. Seriously. I don't want to know any of the stunts, pranks, whatever.
It's not that THEY crashed the Aston, or that's it not THAT great of a stunt, but the shock value is that BOND ACTUALLY FULL ON CRASHED A CAR, BY HIMSLEF.
Well I knew they were going to up the Aston, but not that bad. Geez. It's not the amazing stunt, it's that they totalled an Aston in that manner. Not a quick explosion or something.. just it breaking up like crazy in a barrel roll. Very awesome. Makes a good ending to it all too.
And since we can talk about spoliers here, you know that the carpet-beater is going to make an appearence in the next scene.
Other spoliers, stromberg has posted a few new pictures in the non-spolier thread about the trailer; they're on page 3 of the thread. Take a look at the 3rd picture. Mr. White isn't wearing gold-trimmed sunglasses like in the script.
And what's really cool about the trailer, it even comfuses the people who have read the book, like, what is up with the building in what is clearly Venice falling down? It seems like Vesper is trapped in an elevator in that building.
Maybe she destroyes it herself? A cover for her suicied? And Bond looks like he is still trying to rescue her, like he doesn't know that she was a traitor. Maybe he fails saving her, cries like a 5-year-old girl, then finds out she was a trator. Huh. Hmm...
Well this is the spolier thread so I'll answer this thing about the buildings and water, and if you dont want to read, dont look below:Spoiler
If the mods dont want this post up here feel free to re-move it
Now, Casino Royale, I don't care if I know everything, but I really hope that the spolier you posted is false. That would 100% destroy what this movie is trying to do. Shock value. We've seen the bad guy fake his death and kidnap the girl, and it's always lame. Well, the good majoriry of the time.

Correct. To give it a bit of context (but not too much):
Read if you dare But it really won't spoil the movie, I promise
