Rewatched Moonraker yesterday. It has some good moments, great locations and a splendid villain, but on the whole it's even more of a spoof than I remembered! It's really a Bond movie I watch when I want to have fun and absolutely not take anything seriously (the antithesis of, say, SF or LTK).

I'm feeling up for the film "Blofeld trilogy" this weekend: YOLT, OHMSS and DAF!

I am watching Skyfall. Watching Daniel Craig's three is always good for motivating me to keep up the workout routine.

The 31st anniversary of its North American release is coming up any day now.
I was there for it then and I'm here for it now.

Skyfall the other night. Been having my opinion of Quantum of Solace drop, so I might have to pop that one in and see if I really have come to be more bothered by it than entertained.

Having just listened to the 3 person commentary for TWINE during my workout, I think I've settled on Thunderball for this evening. I've borrowed a friend's 6 film blu-ray set and it occurred to me of the 6 I must have seen Thunderball the least.

I was planning on watching Thunderball (probably the one Bond film I watch the most!), but I just remember two things: One, the films fiftieth anniversary is next December. Two, Bond 24 comes out next year. So figured, I'll wait until next year to watch all of them in order, leading up to November 6th, the U.S. release date for Bond 24. Much like how I did all twenty-three last may, with Skyfall being watched on Ian Fleming's birth date; May 28th.
So there you. October 14th, 2015 to November 6th, 2015, every Bond Film. That's going to be fun.

It's been a while since I last watched a Bond, but now that Halloween is over and as we're gearing up for the beginning of production on Bond 24, I think tonight is a good night to watch a Bond..Kind of in the mood to put on On Her Majesty's Secret Service..

I'm waiting until the beginning of December to slide that one in. My lady and I always do it up with champagne, caviar, pate and smoked salmon while we watch it.

I am now trying to resist the urge of buying the Bond 50 Blu Ray set.... It's so cheap too. like $90.00

You never regret the things you buy - just the ones you pass up.

It's also why we only watch it once a year.
As the man at the Chemin table said, "Too rich for my blood."
