Watching The Spy Who Loved Me now, and for the first time I noticed Stromberg's reflection as he's watching "The Sterlings" approach Atlantis by boat.  However, during the titles there appear to be some film scratches on the silhouettes. QoS sure has a lot of homages to this movie.

Watched Skyfall on DVD late last night and into the early hours of today. Very much enjoyed it. Pity there aren't more extras on it, though. (Leaving myself wide open to the question "well, why don't you get it on blue-ray?" Well, I expect I'll get around to it!)

Might watch CR/QoS/SF in one go over this weekend.

Quantum of Solace. In actuality I’ve grown to appreciate it further as Casino Royale and Skyfall cast their shadow. It’s like this little overlooked gem. I’ve said it before, but if this is the weakest the Craig era gets its pretty darn good.

I strongly agree sharpshooter!

(And very belated birthday wishes The Dove!)

I am in the mood for 'Dr.No' on Blu-Ray in the next week to begin my first ever Bond on Blu-Ray viewings. Rather excited!

I'm thinking that a double feature of A View To A Kill and Skyfall is in order for tonight..

I'm halfway through Octopussy, and it just looks glorious on Bluray.  The colors of the Indian fabrics on the girls and Octopussy's palace just look fantastic.

I was holding off watching the new blu ray-discs but I´m about to start watching them all. I´m contemplating the right order - from DN to SF? From SF to DN? Just starting where I want?

Yep, I have that much time on my hands. Two weeks off, the weather is shitty and my wife is working.

Hmmm...quite the fun dilemma.  So, assuming you haven't already started...

Watch Craig, then the six Connery's, then Lazenby followed by FYEO, then the rest of Moore's, Dalton's double bill, Brosnan, and finally NSNA followed by CR 67.

That it does. Absoutely perfect. I never get tired of watching the films in high definition, given the ammount of times I watched them on VHS in the old days. It's always eye popping.

Skyfall came out in Australia yesterday and I bought it. Watched parts of it today during my lunch break. All of the movies more or less now have the same visual quality as this, a 2012 movie.

Feel like watching OHMSS (But I feel like watching it most days). Am watching the blu-rays in chronological order but only when my wife is on nights and I can get the telly to myself. Have been impressed with the picture quality (especially DN and FRWL) but GF seemed a small step backwards-seems like it was remastered using the video master. Slight graininess throughout compared to the previous two. Or did I forget to clean my glasses?

Watched A View to A Kill last week after I finished up Octopussy.  This time, I found the first half of AVTAK to be good, but found the second half rather weak.  I had the opposite impressions of Octopussy.  Thus finishing up every Bond on Bluray.  Now I actually want to watch Die Another Day!

Not sure what I want to watch next  .  Am between TLD, GE, and CR.  Started at TSWLM and was marathoning from there. I watched Octopussy, but then broke from cannon to watch NSNA.  I only got half way through and I'm not sure I'm in the mood to finish it.  Don't know if I want to move on AVTAK either.  Such a quandary.

I think at the moment I'm a bit Bonded-out. During the build-up for Skyfall I went back and revisited all of the films. Over the Thanksgiving weekend a marathon was run on one of the cable channels. I love the movies and the character but think it's time for a bit of a break.

Finished Die Another Day in one sitting and didn't think it was the worst Bond movie ever.  Then I had the odd thought that Skyfall follows it without much loss in continuity.  No DB5 time wrinkles to explain...

Watching Goldfinger and Tomorrow Never Dies tonight.

I'm really enjoying the small details you get with Bluray.  Even if you have seen the film 100+ times, you can still find something you haven't noticed before.
