The choices for the 2 007 films this week are 'Dr.No', 'The Spy Who Loved Me', 'The Living Daylights', 'GoldenEye' and 'Casino Royale'.

I've already watched DAF, so coming up will be TMWTGG, NSNA and DAD.
I usually watch OHMSS first, but I'll save that for closer to New Years, and m'lady and I will enjoy it - as we always do - with champagne, caviar, pate and Spanish coffee.
A guy's gotta have a hobby, right?

I saw Never Say Never Again. I didn't like it.Aside from Skyfall? Hmm. On Her Majesty's Secret Service though I might just hold off and watch them all starting with Dr. No and ending with Skyfall (on opening day, if things go right.) But for now, I'll check out Never Say Never Again simply because morbid curiosity of seeing an aging Connery draws me to it.

To be honest, it's been a while since I've seen it and I'm looking forward to it at least a little bit more than the dread of The Man with the Golden Gun.

As I'm watching all of the movies in chronological order in preparation for Skyfall, I have the unfortunate task of watching Diamonds are Forever tonight.
To be honest, it's been a while since I've seen it and I'm looking forward to it at least a little bit more than the dread of The Man with the Golden Gun.
I've always considered DAF the nadir of the series...However, I also watched it for the first time in ages recently...and found myself suprisingly entertained. It's still one goddam ugly movie though.
I'm in the mood for A VIEW TO A KILL..a film which has been slowly growing on me.

As a side note I watched the A-ha, Living Daylights video yesterday for the first time, and it was so much fun! It actually gave me goosebumps. I know some people claim it's a bad video but I love that it was filmed as though they were in one of the 007 filming studios. And the gunbarrel walk was just so awesome.
Now, to not derail the topic too much, I'm in the mood for a Moore flick today.

TND was on TV last night, and I believe both CR and QOS will be on in the run-up to the Nov 2 Asian premiere of the new movie.
