I'm going to watch Casino Royale, for the 50th time, and QoS back to back to give Qos another chance. I want to watch FYEO but I just can't get past the score. I just have to go in with the mindset that it has so much to offer that I can get past my least favorite score.

Bond-athon continues tonight with From Russia With Love.. (only have 1 more Connery and 1 more Moore left before my initial round of viewing ALL the Bonds in this grand 50th anniversary year ends...gonna probably do it again as we get closer to the release of "Skyfall" )

Quantum Of Solace. Watching it right now, 007 and Mathis are on the plane to Bolivia. 210 days til Skyfall. So I'm probably going to watch QOS a few times by then.

I'm in the mood for a nice cool Bond enjoyment tonight. I'd go for QoS, but I've already seen it multiple times lately. So I'll probably go with Thunderball. Unless I pick FYEO... Tough decision, really.

I'm actually going to watch Goldfinger in an hour or two, with a few Martinis as I watch. It's gotta be done!

Haha, fresh out! Good thinking though! Ended up drinking half a bottle of Martini though, so I'm a bit giddy now!

I bought the Box Set of Jonny Quest, the 60's animated series very inspired by Bond movies and the spy trend of the time. After watching several episodes it really put me in the mood for a quintessential 60's Bond. Thunderball fit the bill.

I watched this two days ago. I've always had a good experience with it.

With Skyfall on everyones minds and Bond fever in the air. I'm actually thinking of doing another Bond rewatch, might delay it till closer to November. Might be able to finish the Bondathon just in time for Skyfall's release.

When I did it a while back it took me about three months, so maybe I'll start it in September.

Octopussy

EDIT: I just watched Octpussy for possibly the 30th time, and for the first time I noticed that, during the end crawl, the footage of the all-girl barge starts moving backwards just as Rita Coolidge starts the refrain for the second time.

Hell of a thing, those UE DVDs - especially with a 32" flatscreen.

I was in the mood for good old Roger Moore lately. So I watched FYEO and TMWTGG.

I must say I really enjoyed TMWTGG. I hadn't seen it in years, and I remember I thought very little of it. Yet I was found myself rediscovering a very great movie. Apart from the ludicrous 2 scenes with JW Pepper, the movie is highly enjoyable and has a good plot and cast (notably Lee's great performance).

FYEO was also great, as I remembered it to be. I remember I read a post by David M here, a while back, about Bond getting back to Earth as a sort of testament to solid detective/spy adventure, and I must say this is really what I had in mind when watching it again.

On the whole, 2 great treats!
Next on the list is an umpteenth re-viewing of TSWLM and OP...

I know this is probably considered blasphemy in the Bond world, but I can not rememeber the last time I watched a Bond movie or felt the need to watch one. I have all 22 of them and recently I have not felt the urge to pop one in and watch it. It'll come back eventually when I watch one movie per day leading up to Skyfall.
