Granted the producers reuse the Bond theme and the whole soundtrack also made up of previous film scores and there is now new music. 

 

I wish I know which directors have already turned down Bond 24

I wish people still cared about proper spelling and punctuation.

I wish that Google Glasses had the ability to download and play Bond films...Nothing like taking a walk in the park with your glasses on while watching From Russia With Love at the same time!

Granted its Victoria Day or as we call in here in Canada, 'May 2-4' weekend. You spend most of the time yelling at drunk Canadians to shut up and lose your voice.

 

I wish the television show 30 ROCK didn't end halfway through the season.

I wish Community's fourth season lived up to the reputation of the first 3.

Granted the forth season is a complete remake of season three expect with sock puppets. 

 

 

 

I wish Bond didn't have to go on hiatus between 89 and 95 ?

Granted..Timothy Dalton's 3rd Bond is produced in 1991 and he decides to continue on in the role for Goldeneye - Die Another Day..As a result, poor Pierce Brosnan is never given his second chance at Bond and Dalton ends up being even older than Roger Moore was in his final film.. The series finally grinds to a halt in 2002 and doesn't get going again for another 15 years.

 

 

I wish that Timothy Dalton had been brought onboard for A View To A Kill after Roger departs the role after Octopussy.

Granted, but Dalton takes his agent's advice and leaves after one film. Broccoli and Wilson then hastily have to find a new actor for 1987's film and the script has to be rewritten. In the main titles we see: Albert R. Broccoli presents DON JOHNSON as James Bond 007 in "007 in Miami Vice."

 

 

I wish SW7 revives the franchise and restores Star Wars to its former glory.

Granted... the SW7 South Kensington postal district which also encompasses part of Knightsbridge (but nobody cares about them 'cos they're all tossers) hosts a special event commemorating the Star Wars franchise. Unfortunately it closes down because the next SW film sucks.

I wish SKYFALL learns to appreciate me telling everybody what letter to lead with in the This or That thread. After all, certain persons - who shall remain nameless - kept leading with the wrong letter.

I think you mean the New ABC's thread. And really? You are clearly talking about me and that was over a year ago. You mean to tell me that you have been doing that all this time for me. LOL Why don't you just wait until someone makes the mistake and then correct them. Instead of assuming that we would make the mistake without your lame tip. 

 

Granted I start to appreciate it so much so that I do the same thing. 

 

I wish glidrose had more opinions and ideas rather then just trying to pick arguments with people. 

 

Edit; now that I've cooled down, thought of a better wish:

 

I wish Nolan does direct Bond 24 and Liam Neeson is the villain.

Granted, Bond 24 is actually just a re-release of Batman Begins.

 

 

I wish Gal Gadot is cast as the lead Bond girl for Bond 24.

Granting Seawolfny's wish (after Googling Gal Gadot to see who the hell she is...ahh she's been in all those Fast and Furious movies..no wonder I've never heard of her...sorry! lol..)

 

Granted... Miss Gadot is cast as the lead Bond actress in Bond 24...but due to an obscure clause in her contract, her F&F co-star, Vin Diesel MUST be cast alongside her as the main villain. The final fight sequence of the movie involves Bond vs Mr. Diese in some horrible Tokyo Drift speed chase knock-off.

 

 

I wish that along with Sam Mendes returning for Bond 24, we also have Roger Deakins back as Cinematogrpher and Alexander Witt back as 2nd Unit director!

Granted, but instead of Babs and Michael producing the executive producers joining Mendes, Deakins and Witt are Uwe Boll and Michael Bay.

Granted! You finally finish book 4, but when you start book 5, "A Dance With Dragons" you find yourself struggling to make it past chapter 1..

 

 

I wish that Daniel Craig had voiced his own likeness in "007 Legends"..

I wish "A Dance With Dragons' was out on mass market paperback (the small cheap version) to match the ones I already have.

I wish for B24 and beyond to make better visual and cultural use of their locations than some we've seen lately.

Granted, the title of Bond 24 is Breaking Dawn Part 3, starring the ever expressionless Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and that weird blond guy from the first movie who broke Kristen Stewart's leg.

 

 

I wish I could replay The Last of Us for the first time.
