amazing scenery there.Would love to see Bond here in Sydney.
Otherwise, why not have him enjoying some of the English countryside. Not far from this lake in North West England (not Scotland), there is an RAF base and a lot of low flying RAF planes.
Future Locations?

perhaps, Copenhagen - Denmark (Le Chiffre's [Mads Mikkelsen] homelandI would very much like to see Bond in a cold climate for Bond 23, I've always loved the scenery in OHMSS, it would be very nice if we could see Bond 23 top that.

Indeed. There are 12 other lakes just as beautiful in northern England.

Bond should definately visit Copenhagen some time in the future, and it's a shame the series hasn't been to Scandinavia before.

Copenhagen seems like a very Daniel Craig Bond location.
I'd second that! Besides, Scandinavia is the place for a navy man!

I personally did take that pic.
As you can see, Cancun is the best beach in the world and Craig should come to have a nice shot here.

Nice. But is Cancun exclusive enough for Bond?

Now THIS would be cool to see in a Bond movie.

Faro, Portugal
Austria (again, because it is probably the most photogenic country in the world)
Paris again, as for me, not enough was made of it in A View To A Kill. It's a city worthy of a much better chase sequence as well!
Dublin? Bond hasn't been to Ireland yet and it's only a hop over the pond!
Freiburg, Germany
Basel, Switzerland
Le Toucet, France
Dijon, France
Venice (always love seeing Venice in a Bond movie!)
Florence, as beautiful as Siena!
San Diego?
Vegas again?
South Africa, as he missed out in Diamonds Are Forever!
Moscow, he STILL hasn't been!

If so, I think there is a good chance we will see Bond in Asia, for example Japan or Thailand.

Or the M25 during rush hour, yeap.
The City of London, the square mile, wall street, Hong Kong, Tokyo stock exchange. Because remember it's all economics stupid.
Infiltrate a large hedge fund corp which is actually a front for an international financial industry based pirates....I am on to something...

It doesn't need to be used in a set-piece, just simply there for atmosphere. Its name is Bagger 288, an it's currently based in Germany (it won't be leaving any time soon as it's huge and incrediby slow to move). In fact, it's so big that it's even larger than the vehicle used to transport space shuttles at Cape Carnaveral. It can move 76,000 cubic metres of earth a day at a rate of ten metres per minute. It's so powerful that it has picked up a bulldozer and thrown it like a child's toy. More pictures - including the bulldozer accident - and information can be found here.

Having seen 10 seconds of Quantum of Solace and knowing the locations for this film, what kind of scenery and locations can we expect next? Will they try to contrast the locations with Daniel Craig's first two films?
If so, I think there is a good chance we will see Bond in Asia, for example Japan or Thailand.
Yep I think Bond 23 will be Craig's Big Asian Adventure. Moore and Brosnan had done their Asian visit in their second films, and Dalton's third was all set for the far east too. I'm thinking Tokyo, or Seoul, perhaps if we want gritty locales mixed in too, the non-touristy section of inland China, though filming there would probably be problematic. Maybe work in a ski sequence in Northern Japan too (Again, Moore and Brosnan had ski scenes in their third film), and Craig can confront Dr. Shatterhand after that

Maybe. But the plot should determine the locations, not the other way around. They can't sit down an say "OK, we need to send Bond to Asia" because it might compromise the plot a little.Having seen 10 seconds of Quantum of Solace and knowing the locations for this film, what kind of scenery and locations can we expect next? Will they try to contrast the locations with Daniel Craig's first two films?

Venice (always love seeing Venice in a Bond movie!)
Again? It has been a location 3 times already. Beautiful city though.

Hey, if you can't film in the real place, Aldershot (North Korea in DAD) and Swindon (Azerbaijan in TWINE) always come in handy!

Having said that I'd love to see the Great Wall of China in a Bond film. After all he's been to the Eifel tower and the Pyramids, why not throw the Great Wall?
Also love to see him back in Thailand (nationality bias here)- It'll be funny to see Bond attempting to car-chase the baddie in downtown Bangkok with all the traffic and ends up using the Sky train and somehow end up in "Soi Cowboy"

It's the Australian Academy of Science in Canberra. The building is known as the Shine Dome.
It's almost 50 years old, but I think it has a cool retro-futuristic thing about it that could work pretty well for some exterior shots.

"The Shine Dome has received numerous awards, and is one of seven projects the Royal Australian Institute of Architects has nominated to the World Register of Significant Twentieth Century Architecture." (See this page.)
The interior is less impressive - just a lecture hall and some offices. But that's why we have the magic of movies: so the Eden project can become a diamond mine, and the Shine Dome can become a villain's lair or something else equally cool!
Thoughts? Opinions?

Dijon, France
???
Well, I've visited this city, and even if it's rather nice it didn't scream "Bond" at me. Why would you like to see it in a Bond film?
