I think the Biltmore Estate near Asheville, North Carolina, USA would be an excellent Bond location. It has a regal European feel and would be a great place for a future Bond villain. It is a French Renaissance-inspired chateau built by George Washington Vanderbilt II between 1888 and 1895. The estate today covers approximately 8,000 acres (32 km

Bond could meet with Felix or a Raul/Mathis type local contact at the Sirocco sky bar & restaurant in Bangkok.

I would like to see an entire bond film at one single location/country (maybe 2 if it starts in the UK). Similar to Dr. No.

Some deserving cities we have yet to see enough of:

Buenos Aires
Barcelona
Manila
Shanghai
Moscow
Mumbai
Nairobi
Addis Ababa
Panama (Bond 22!)
Los Angeles
New York
Bogota
Santiago
Sao Paulo
Stockholm
Boston/Cape Cod
Tokyo
Frankfurt
Chicago
Brussels
Madrid
Mexico City
Budapest
Bangkok
Osaka
Johannesburg
Jakarta
Houston
Caracas
Taipei
Washington, DC
Seoul

Yes, it does. I've been to Bangkok, and it's certainly a place of contrasts. The streets right down at the bottom of the skybar will have potholes and rubbish strewn around. Same with Kuala Lumpur. Huge skyscrapers tower over slums.

Definitely. Recently, I've been thinking about the French Polynesia and the French Guiana (the scattered ruins of the ancient penal colony on Devil's Island are quite a sight. Good scenario for a fight, or a criminal's lair, the place for a hidden cache of something, you name it).

That is a great location. It would be great to see Bond visit that place at some point in a future film.

I think travelogues are good, but I also think fitting the travel well into the stoy-line, is more important than going to new and interesting places.

I am actually more keen on the idea of travelogues like in the movies Dr. No and From Russian with Love: In Dr. No Bond really only went to Jamaica and nowhere else, and in FRWL he traveled to the border of Turkey and USSR, (which when you think of it, is not in itself at that spot, a very travely place to go. He saw some gypsies fighting there, and a lot of action took place underground looking through telescopes at people's feet. I actually like that, even though I do like travel scenery in the 007 series. I just think it should meld into the movies well.

I am more interested in seeing a movie with Bond traveling to a couple or a few places that -are connected, nearby each other, than like in Moonraker, where he went to California I think it was, then Venice, then Rio, and then -SPACE lol. DIamonds are Forever is somewhat similar: South Africa, Amsterdam, Las Vegas, oil rig off California coast. These seem kind of strung together willy nilly.

I say pick a couple decent enough places, and even places that he's been to once or twice is fine, and meld it well into a good plot.

I do say Barcelona has a unique scenery to it with its spiral architecture, but it doesn't play heavily in current world affairs. But a good storyline could fix that.

Rome is not a bad idea, I say.

And since Brussels is the capital of Europe, I think it might be a decent pick for locale.

Barcelona and Rome are both good potential future locations.

I would be happy with a car chase in either.

Yeah, but I was wondering while I was posting those pix whether one would tower over all the pollution as well. A "sky bar" like that would definitely not work in Jakarta where I used to live and work.

I am ready for "007 in New York".

It's been a little bit since Bond got some IS time hasn't it?

A swing by the Biltmore Estate would be nice to see too.

Bond can't go to Hawaii. I'd be too anxious waiting for Locke to pop out of a hatch.

Fleming mentions Malta a number of times in his books so EON should come over here. When Craig was filming Munich here he said he loved it. Is it true Harry Fawkes was his Executive Protector while he was here? Is it true Harry Fawkes had a part in the film Munich?  :(

I'm still hoping that one day James Bond will come to Canada. I think British Columbia in particular would be a great location for Bond to go.

How about this open air ice rink in Riga, Latvia? I can see a fight starting in one of those buildings, ending up on the rink itself.

Bond should go to Sydney, Tel Aviv, Sao Paulo, Moscow, Bangkok, Montreal & or old Quebec City, Canada after all he was in Quebec for the book TSWLM. Even though they can't use TSWLM storyline they can at least use the city. Bond's Aston Martin would look beautiful driving down Rue Sainte Ursule of La belle Provence and it's 400-year-old (Founded in 1608)European like streets. Bond could stay at the Ch

Would love to see Bond here in Sydney.

Otherwise, why not have him enjoying some of the English countryside. Not far from this lake in North West England (not Scotland), there is an RAF base and a lot of low flying RAF planes.
