Sounds fantastic (though you point out that LeChiffre is not close to Sanchez or Zorin - my two favourites).
Very balanced and the idea of putting up an interview-style is very helpful as well.
Thumbs up.

The review does have the opinion of someone who felt slightly differently than us - It was updated tonight
Some interesting stuff from Gravity's Silhouette (this is by no means to discount the other contributors, but this is the first time I've read anything really negative about the script, so naturally it's a bit of an eye-opener). Yikes.
For what it's worth, I had exactly the same reaction as GS when I read some of the dialogue featured in a certain important scene. Was prepared to give it the benefit of the doubt, but since GS has read the whole script (I haven't) and knows the context better....
Could we be in for the PHANTOM MENACE of the Bond series?

Well I read it too and thought the dialogue was brilliant so I guess it's all a matter of taste, Loomis.

It's worth noting that some pretty intriguing changes may have taken place towards the third act of the film, if some comments by Martin Campbell are to be believed. He said that the infamous line would close the film in March, long after this December draft had been rewritten. In addition, they added Leiter into the mix (presumably to be more faithful than they already were). It's possible the final film may resolve itself quite differently from what we have here.
There's just no way, in my opinion. Even at the very worst CASINO ROYALE could be, it still mops the floor with the past three Bond films, and I'd give it the edge over GOLDENEYE, LICENCE TO KILL, and THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS, just because I think there's more to like in CASINO ROYALE than in any of those films.Could we be in for the PHANTOM MENACE of the Bond series?
I have nothing but respect for Gravity's Silhouette as a Bond fan, but his and my own views on Bond are entirely different. For starters, he abhors Dalton and Dalton's films (and I believe also dislikes FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE, one of the films I consider a sort of "sacred cow" of the franchise) and digs THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH (a film I couldn't be less happy with). He also can't stand the casting of Daniel Craig one bit and as a result of that and many other things had a real intense dislike for CASINO ROYALE even before he read the script. We come from two very different places, and naturally he and I aren't going to see eye-to-eye.

But I'm looking forward to a lot of the other dialogue, and the Miami sequence sounds absolutely stunning, and probably worth the price of admission on its own.

Stunning doesnt even beging to describe it. The Miami action sequence will make DAD look like a Saturday Morning Cartoon!
Ok, maybe that's a bit much, but you get the gist.
