In the end its like they ve cut it two seconds before it really ends. Is Craig about to utter the line?

I don't think that end bit is actually from the film - I think it's shot specifically for the trailer.

I'm pretty sure as well. It's like that 'You know the rest' bit they shot for the TND trailer with that fellow, what's his name...

That was rather mean of me.

Last shot is indeed a bit iffy, Craig himself doesn't seem really comfortable with it. You didn't ask Dalton to do stuff like that either.

The cinematography and visual style of this movie looks brilliant.

Have you seen the teaser to LTK, the one where Dalton has a digital watch?

He had his fair share of promo acting.

Looks really cool. I wanted to see more of the parkour. I never get tired of seeing that stuff. The film looks very classy and I agree that the final shot is a little much -- seems tacked on and abrupt, as if "Just in case you still weren't sure this was James Bond."

Damn! I can't watch the trailer, the link won't work for me! AH! All I get is what appears the be weird symbols and characters in some text format! I can't right click it to download it to try and mixing/matching video players! What is wrong? Who else is having this problem! Sorry for the mild hysterics, I'm just really anxious to see this trailer.

I don't know why, but I really didn't mind the last shot. Almost as if he's trying to say, "I don't need to say anything... you know who I am."

Superb.

Well, apart from the cheesy final shot, which I'd agree with Harmsway was probably done for the trailer. Sticks out like a sore thumb and is as corny as you can get. Still, some very fine footage. :D

I'd agree with ya there, Loomis. The last shot is cornball... they might as well just have left with the CASINO ROYALE logo and it would've been fine. Still, great stuff. I like the new style of filming this footage seems to indicate.

I'm glad someone else pointed it out before I had to look like a miserable old hag again :D Still, apart from that it's very impressive, even if made a little too much for the ADD generation for my liking.

Wow I felt that was so much different compared to the DAD teaser, didn't have the cheesy feel, this was so much powerful, my only criticism was the pose at the end, the hairstyle is a little bit off if you ask, but still great!!

I never really liked the teasers for TND, TWINE, or DAD because I always felt like the concentrated too much on the villians or the "flavor of the month" Bond girl while this one is very much about the man himself. I'm just so excited right now. I think I've watched it about twenty times already.

Yeeeeeeees....

Wasn't gonna say anything, but....

Isn't this supposed to be the one that's "a gritty return to Flemmmming"?

None of the actionfest excesses of DIE ANOTHER DAY?

What's that hi-tech gadget they use on his arm, then?

Just one explosion, did someone say?

Hmmm....

Sorry, typical fanboy - give him anything, and he'll grumble.

As y'all were. :D

'Tim darling; could you turn around looking really mean (ooh! Butch!) wearing this enormous digital watch (classy!) with 007 written on it? Thanks my love!'

I like the last shot. Sticks a middle finger up at craignotbond, The Sun and the entire anti-Craig brigade. As pointed out, it dos'nt look like it's part of the actual movie so no need to be concerned if it's cheesy.

Well to me its just about emphasising the change. Its not JUST the new Bond film. Its the one where CRAIG is Bond now! Think it works.

From the same sequence, however (the free-running chase, which should be a decently long sequence, for what it's worth).

At first I was put off by the "ADD" style as you said, but now I can't stop watching it. I get more and more excited every time. It's a thousand times better with the music, I just wish I didn't have to listen to those french voices LOL. And the fight scenes! They look fantastic, violent and realistic unlike some of the other films. Time to go watch it again...

If the action scenes look live up to what they look like in the teaser, we could be looking at the new standard for all spy films, just like GF and TB were in the 60's.

If the whole movie was just two hours of her walking, I'd still pay to see it.

Never mind, the trailer won't work for me because Netscape sucks like that. I downloaded it using IE. Don't worry about it. Crisis averted.

ok a little translation for those who don't understand french

-M: may be i shouldn't expect from a bulldozer to understand that... any thugs can kill... i ask you for putting your ego aside...
-Bond: you want me to be part monk part killer?
-M: I knew you were too immature for this promotion
-Bond: I've heard that 00 agents have a limited lifetime

Yeah... it's a great combination of grit and style... comes off really well.

Looks like Campbell has brought his A-Game (and his A-Game is a lot better than people give him credit for).

definate milestone in the production, making this all very exciting! I agree of course that the final shot is very cheesy, but I wouldn't be surprised to see that cut from any cinema release of the trailer (if this is infact the teaser bound for the cinema) I really like the cloak and dagger stuff, like the black and white, the knife stalker etc, all very very very good stuff!
