And she'll have more to lose since her career has been struggling the last few years. Craig is still being recognized by people and most seeing Invasion, if they recognize him at all, will probably think "Hey, that's the guy who played Bond in Casino Royale."It is clearly Nicole Kidman's movie though, with Daniel in a definite supporting role.

Opinions are opinions, but it doesn't seem to be getting outstanding reviews so far: http://www.rottentom...com/m/invasion/
The Bond curse endures.

What were you doing, Daniel, playing the rakish studmuffin--when your big scene in the movie called for a geek to be rebuffed by Nicole Kidman, who only wants to be friends?
Here's hoping you do better with your 15-20 minutes' time (my bet) in the Golden Compass. So far we have no guarantees that you're a major draw in anything other than Bond. A fate allother Bonds have had to fight to overcome.
I want my money back for Invasion. And I'm more convinced now than ever: a last minute change in directors a clear-enough sign of a clunker.

Daniel Craig, shame on you! Ten minutes' screen time--and you couldn't even do that right?

remember he shoot this film in september 2005 ,before he was cast as 007
anyway I think the movie didn't work at all ,but daniel managed to steal the show whenever he was onscreen

Craig's character in Golden Compass only appears in a few chapters, but his presence is felt all through out. I imagine you're not far off in suggesting he'll only have 15 to 20 minutes of screentime.
If THE GOLDEN COMPASS proves to be a hit, Craig's role should grow larger in the sequel(s).

Depends on how faithful they stay to the books. I'm nearing the end of the second book and his character hasnt appeared once.

I was at least hoping for a commentary track by Dan and/or Nicky. By anyone!
Me too.

I liked the movie overall, but you could feel where the reshoots/re-edits were and they often, especially in the climactic action sequence, brought the film down.

Too bad the delay isn't to add more bonus features, like including the original cut of the film along with the theatrical cut.
Yeah, that'd be a nice extra.
