Tim Tebow stats Week 1: 5 rushes for 11 yards and one onside kick recovery.... The debate ends now...LOL!!
What a stellar performance last night for Manning and the Broncos 31-19 over the Steelers...

Well the Aints have returned! Now, I wonder what tdalton has to say about the Jets now? They looked pretty damn good!
While I was pleased with the effort by the offense, the defense did let up considerably in the second half and let a very mediocre team get back to within 13-points in what should have been a 35-40 point blowout. That raises some concern.
Also, they were playing the Bills. If they beat Pittsburgh, or even play well enough not to get blown out of the building, then I'll let up on them a bit. I do have a feeling, though, that Pittsburgh is going to absolutely manhandle them, especially with a concussed Revis either missing the game or not being at 100%.

Turns out I was right after all. Can't judge a team after just one game against the Buffalo Bills. They played a real team today and showed how bad they truly are.
The Jets are a joke. All bravado and absolutely nothing to back it up. Hopefully they finish the season on a 15 game losing streak so Woody Johnson will be forced to clean house and start over yet again.

The hypocrisy of the NFL is just sickening at this point. We'll protect the well-being of the players, at least the ones who play out on the edge and who are famous instead of protecting everybody and focusing on changes that could be made at the line of scrimmage that could improve the health and safety of the linemen, but that doesn't matter. They preach player safety until it's inconvenient, which is the case with the standoff with the regular officials. These replacements barely know the rules and are barely able to provide minimum competency in terms of basic officiating, let alone looking out for the well being of the players, which is also their job under the new NFL regime. The NFL needs to get the regular officials back before we just have to place one large asterisk next to this season.

I did predict that the 49ers would go all the way because they have been having a terrific season but then they got beat by the vikings so now I don't know.

New York Jets superfan Fireman Ed resigns
The Jets franchise is clearly the worst franchise currently in professional sports. It's gotten so bad this year that I just have to laugh at their games this year. I was practically on the floor with laughter when they gave up 21 points in a span of 52 seconds on Thanksgiving against the Patriots. And the sad thing about the NFL this year (and this is thanks to the players not being allowed to have contact in practices anymore) is that the Jets are still very much alive in the playoff race at 4-7.

I'm thinking New England and some NFC team. I'd say the Giants again, but they aren't as good as last year. Screw it, I'm giving it to the Packers.

Broncos...11-3!! and we have an excellent shot at securing a 1st round by after the Pats laid that egg against the 49ers last night...We just need to secure wins against the Browns and Chiefs and it's a lock...

Tried to get into this sport, but it's just too much stopping and starting for me.
Feels like it never gets going.
