It would be very cool to have a realistic approach towards a realistic Bond.

Who owns Fiat now?
(BTW, my first car ever was a 1980 Fiat Spider 2000)

But Bond fans need not worry that 007 is trading in his Aston Martin for a Fiat. It's been confirmed that James Bond will be driving Aston Martin's new V8 Vantage in Casino Royale.

Hey, remember THIS STORY? Seeing as it nailed the South African location, this was certainly more than a rumour. Could the Panda have stolen the "Range Stormers" part in the film? Interesteing.

And, while I don't doubt that this Fiat will just be in background, it does sit a little oddly with the Ford deal which saw only Ford Group cars in Die Another Day (even the Ice Palace car park featured nothing but Ford group cars). Is this deal over? How do Ford feel about a Fiat in Casino?

Doesn't a Porsche get wrecked in the pre-credits? Seem to remember Ferrari or Lamborghini (or both) dropping out the 'plane at the "thrilling climax". I think it may be true that the Ford products tend to survive, save a broken windscreen... although that Jaguar's probably a goner.

Oddly enough, I can't recall where that scene occurs in the novel. You know, I might be crazy, but I would rather see Bond driving this car that that Aston Martin Vantage. He is going to South Africa, so Q gives him this completely tricked out bad-
little car the flies along at 200MPH. We expect to see guns flip from behind the headlights of a Aston because, well, we've seen it a zillion times. *yawn* But Bond pulling up in this thing and people chuckling...but then later on we reveal a bazooka behind the grill and a rocket for an engine...the thing can somersault through a house and roll down a mountain and still drive away without a dent...that's Bond!

But Eon already has a deal with Aston Martin...If there is any truth to the rumor that CR is all about young James Bond's first assignment, I find it very hard to believe MI6 will hand him the keys of the Aston Martin... he's got to earn that one! I therefore wouldn't be surprised if the Fiat Panda is indeed going to be Bond's ride in this film.

You're right the Bulgar bombers were those guys with the cameras, the ones who bugged Bond's room were the Muntzes; they, I beleive, worked with Le Chiffre. Of course, anyone can correct me if I'm (more than likely) wrong.I suppose. It's been a while since I've read CR, but are the Bulgarian's the ones who have the camera disguised as a bomb, or the people who have tapped Bond's hotel room from the room below him?
