It's my favorite show on television. I never cared for the British version myself.

I agree with Dave I'm afraid. I actually think the UK version was possibly the most overrated...well, anything, of the decade, but I still think the US version is total pony.

Today amazon brought me Seven Samurai and Season Four of The Wire - started watching that show on dvd last month and am completely hooked on it.

Look for CSI New York. In my opinion the best of the series!

Ooh nice, Blofeld's Cat. I notice you bought THE HIRE back in July. How did you like it? I watched the movies online, then grabbed the dvd as soon as BMW released it some years ago.

They were great little movies. Amazing how much can be put in a sub-10 minute time frame. Great soundtrack for all of them too. The DVD included Director commentaries on all eight movies and ALL of them spoke of Clive Owen and James Bond in the one sentence. IMO John Woo's "Hostage" is the best of the lot.

Now that you've brought it up Jackanaples, I might watch them again soon. :(
