Finally picked up Never Say Never Again on DVD today. When I sold my VHS collection back in 2003, I never got around to picking it up. Will be nice to watch it again.

The Hitman

Reminded me a lot of the two Transporter films, in fact Jason Statham would have been excellent in the lead role. The new Bond Girl plays a prominent part in this film, and looked very good in and out of her clothes!

There Will Be Blood - 2-Disc Collector's Edition

The real treat here is (by far) the film itself, but I am dissapointed with the volume and actual content of the included special features. Was hoping for something more in line with the Magnolia DVD.

Still, the film...  :(

Yes, I just bought that yesterday, and ever since PUNCH-DRUNK LOVE, Paul T. Anderson has been weird about the extras he puts on his discs. With HARD EIGHT and BOOGIE NIGHTS we got some great commentaries out of him. With MAGNOLIA we got a terrific behind-the-scenes documentary. But with PDL and TWBB... I don't what's going on here. It's like Anderson has decided to re-invent himself as being a Kubrick-like recluse. Still TWBB is terrific.

Quite.

I recall hearing or reading somewhere that he doesn't plan to do audio commentaries anymore for his films, but I would have loved a documentary similar to the excellent one for Magnolia. Ah well.

Shocked they did not include the Charlie Rose interview that Anderson and Day Lewis did together.
