I definitely want to see this, but I'll hold off for the time being.Hearts of Darkness (a terrific movie about the making of Apocalypse Now- I'd urge everyone who loves film to see it!)
The title of the 2006 release of Apocalypse Now - The Complete Dossier is a bit of a joke as Hearts of Darkness wasn't included. Call me Cynical Sid but it's just a moneymaking exercise to release HoD seperately, and I'll bet there'll be a "Definitive Ultimate Edition" released soon that'll combine the two. THEN I'll buy it!

The main 2 episodes are not as good as the previous 3 series but the documentary on their tour here in Australia and the excellent Comic Relief live sketches with an audience of stars (baring all in one case!!) are worth the purchase.

It has to be one of the most disturbing films I've seen in a long, long time; absolutely made me squirm in a visceral way and I still have to scratch my head.A descent into Hell is triggered when "Ex-Lord" Donald Brocklebank finds that he must leave Longleigh House for London to find a way to pay for the medical treatments for his wife Nancy. Alone, his over-protected, delusional, adult son, James, fancies himself in charge of the manor house with his terminally ill mother, and barricades the two of them into the house for a series of ever more panicked home treatments, mistakenly protecting her from the arrival of Nurse Mary and any outside help.
