That sucks, but it looks to me like IFP is setting up 2008 to be a year of big releases to commemorate Fleming's 100th birthday. We're going to get Young Bond Book 4 (January 08), this graphic novel (Summer 08), and the adult one-off (Late 08? - a guess, but 08 in anycase).

Who knows what else.

Good news, and yet bad that we have to wait so long.

Really.. bored. I tried to imitate Walker's work, but I failed miserably and decided to make mine a little more weathered.

Not a bad first (perhaps only) attempt though. I wanted to try something different, thus...

Nice work, K1. :D

You know, that inspires me to creat a "fan art" gallery on my website. Maybe others want to create Young Bond fan art? Alternate books covers. Ads for a Young Bond movie? :D

Could someone point to a place where I can find nice large pictures of all the Young Bond illustrations?

I was thinking that this afternoon, too. So far I haven't found any close up hi-res portraits of anyone. Had to blow one of them up and put it on tracing paper (note the enormous eye).

I'm really looking forward to this. I hope Blood Fever and DoD adaptions will come sooner than later.

The SilverFin Graphic Novel is at long last available for pre-order.

I'm VERY jazzed about this book, but, again, I do hope we don't wait as long for the other adaptations. I especially excited to see a Double or Die graphic novel because of the London locations. I think that book in particular contains some tremendous (dark, Gothic) visuals.

Like that price too. :D They usually seem to charge a bit more for these.

Indeed. It would be excellent to see what I was reading displayed in comic form for all 5 of the books. Then, we can have the series continue with further original stories.

Yes, although i think Hurricane Gold would best lend itself to a graphic novel format. Be great to see exotic locations such as Mexico and Mayan ruins, in addition to the "avenue of death" in visual form.

I have seen an interview with Charlie situated elsewhere where he talks of the SilverFin graphic novel. In summary, he said it is coming along well - they are doing it properly. He believes it will stand up against the likes of Asterix and Tin Tin. I like the sound of that.

I've been wanting to hear something from this, and what a nice blurb this is. It entices me and makes the wait that more painful.

Are you referrring to Higson's SilverFin novel? As this upcoming release is a graphic novel, there's a bit of a difference there...
