Regrettably, I have plans before the screening that will prevent me from attending M&F's, but I much appreciate the offer. I have reviewed some of the posts from you LA CBners and it seems like you are a cool, knowledgable group. Hopefully I can meet up with you guys some time.
I am happy to hear of the other recent Bond screenings in this area, those are some of the series' best. (And even LALD and MR are solid "entertainment" if nothing else). Hopefully there will be more to follow.
Thanks for the info, maybe I'll se y'all at the Egyptian.
"Exceptionally fine shot."
"I didn't know there was a pool down there."

Look forward to meeting you on Sat. Look for us. We'll be the loud drunken wankers (maybe I'll wear my nifty new CBn shirt).

I am excited at the prospect of conversing with true Bond fans. I have been one for a while now and haven't often been able to discuss 007 at any depth with my friends and family. Repressed indeed.
Regarding the screening, I am anxiously counting the hours now. I'll be there in my classic black gunbarrel tee, a great look for any event. I hope to see the LA group there and I look forward to talking with the rest of the CBn world through these top-notch forums.
Until next time.

We're glad to have you on the forum. There is always something to talk about here with others, it's the best Bond site on the web.

So right after the lights came on I raced passed everyone to get to the lobby and just walked right up to them and said something to the effect of, "Hi! My name's Athena and I just wanted to meet you guys." We then talked a bit about the screenings of 007 movies in Los Angeles and the print quality of Diamonds Are Forever that was just screened and how there should be new prints considering they're revamping the films for the new DVDs. Oh and also the fact that they were jet lagged and had a lot of work to do! Then I asked them if I could have a picture with them

Ya, I totally noticed that (as well) while we were having a chat.I don't know Neal that well as he seems more shy, but Rob is a very cool and interesting guy.

And kudos to Athena for going up to P&W afterwards and saying "hi." I'm very shy about approaching people. I just hang back. But I did take the picture. They seemed very cool. True Bond fans, more interested about what other Bond movies the Egyptian has shown and what might be shown next.
Also great to meet Problem Eliminator. You're now officially one of the LA CBn crew.

Just wondering if you guys got silly again at Casa Zenthena...

Everyone was so tired after the screening we all just headed home. One of John's friends came back to our house though because he hadn't seen the new pad yet.Just wondering if you guys got silly again at Casa Zenthena...

He never got his milk because he missed dinner at Musso & Franks (arriving while we were paying the bill, but it was ok that he was late... he had some things to deal with). But before we realized he was going to be late we did order a martini glass of milk -- I ended up drinking it instead.Did Ry get his milk?

Give it to Athena...Pierce, George, Neal and Rob...She goes for it!
I only commented to Neal that we were all keeping our fingers crossed for the next one (Casino Royale) but I didn't mention it by name. Now, even though jet-lagged and clearly not expecting to be spotted, they were both nice. Neal hit me with a zinger though...and all in good fun.
Bryce: Everyone's thrilled with the news. We're hoping.
Neal: I just hope everyone doesn't mind the space-station we've thrown in at the end.
It about floored me. Ahhh...That wry British wit.

Great pics Athena and I thank you for keeping "Miss Bellucci" under wraps.

DAF holds a special place in my heart as the first Bond film I ever saw and it was a thrill to see it on the big screen. The audience was also a live crowd.
After chatting with THE WRITERS OF THE NEXT BOND (sorry...had to plug that again) we lingered about outside and said our farewells.
But the LA CBn Crew will return...in an as yet-to-be-titled thread.
Great night everyone!

Those guys were pretty wiped out, but jet-lag and all decided to take in some classic Bond.
....They just didn't plan on being spotted by the CBn radar.

Oh well, it's what we do. Even better that you and Athena were wearing your CBn shirts.
REPRESENT!
