She's certainly very attractive.
I thought Roger Moore was very James Bond-like in this movie...a man of action romancing the most beautiful women and driving the best sports cars. My favorite action scene is the one where they are all driving that antique sports car and being pursued by the villains thugs in the helicopter.

Of course the scene as they race away in the bride and grooms car (cans and all) is a hoot too.

Of all Moore film beside Bond,I really wanted in my DVD collection is The Naked Face.I enjoy this film very much featuring great performance from Moore and the music score is so beautiful and haunting it fit the movie very well.

Is that the movie where Roger Moore plays a psychiatrist and also stars David Hedison? It's a very good movie.

Roger was excellent in this movie, and as the guy says in 'The Man Who Haunted Himself' commentary says, it's the first time Roger has his hair brushed forward in a movie.

I adore Martha Hyer, as his boss in this movie, and I would love to work for someone like her besides myself. :)

She's about my age now. :)

It sure is my friend, with a good theme tune and score by Stanley Black.

I also love The Naked Face. David Hedison's superb as Roger Moore friend, and again, Roger was damn good in this one. :)

I've only seen THE NAKED FACE once (on TV back in the 1980s). I still remember the solution to why all that is being done to the poor Dr. Stevens.

I must have bought an "el cheapo" DVD because my copy doesn't have one on it. :)

I'll double check with the "audio" button on the remote to see if there is actually one on it.

Yes. The plots very obvious, but Elliot Gould and Rod Steiger are superb as the cops. But, in my mind, the plots carriers are Anne Archer, and Virginia Smith who make this thriller quite upsetting. with a super score by Michael J. Lewis ( The Man Who Haunted Himself ) and super direction from Brian Forbes, it's a tense thriller that's can disturb even after all these years.

Cheers,

Ian

Perhaps the Region 4 release was different.

An example of that is THE BATTLE OF BRITAIN DVD, only the Region 2 release (Europe) has the Guy Hamilton audio commentary.

Michael J Lewis wrote the music score for Naked Face (NF) he also did Roger TMWHH and North Sea Hijack but NF is his best work to date.

What I'd like to know is, why was the last quarter hacked so badly?.

I can remember this movie ending with Churchill's announcement via the 'in the field' radio giving the end of the war. But, the region 1 release is so badly put together I'm afraid.

I watched Crossplot tonight, and it also occurred to me that it seemed like Roger Moore's James Bond playing "Fenn, Gary Fenn."

Pretty good movie, although the 'stupid character syndrome' always annoys me. I'm not even English and Hyde Park was the first thing to cross my mind when Moore mentioned the clue. :)

I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking that. There was Moore's character going through possibilities "Jekyll and Hyde" etc and I'm like "C'mon, it's obviously Hyde Park."
