I hope Sam Niell returns, although I have my doubts.

Change the dates, names and titles, and you could almost be emulating the all knowing cynicism of 1965.I'm in two minds about a fourth Jurassic Park. I mean, the first and second are great, The Lost World being my favourite, The third was appalling but still entertaining. I dunno... with the crap Spielberg has been churning out of late I can't say I'm at all sold on him directing, or Joe Johnston for that matter. Have a feeling they'll go down the reboot path as well (sigh), could be good, could be awful.

And here we are in 2011 ...

Apart from KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL (which allegedly was mostly Lucas's project) I'd hardly call his recent output "crap." Sure, WAR OF THE WORLDS is flawed, but it's still a fine film. MUNICH is one of the highlights of his career. Probably in my top 3, along with CLOSE ENCOUNTERS and A.I.
Spilelberg's already got TINTIN and WAR HORSE coming out, with the Lincoln biopic scheduled. I'm not sure he'd want to return to the JP franchise anytime soon. But if there were planning another sequel, I'd rather it had Spielberg and Williams.
