Welcome to the CommanderBond.net Forums, LooseCannon. :tup:

Thankyou, and Mr Malcolm. Slowly finding my way around!

Agree with a lot of suggestions above. Another couple;

Echobelly - Dark Therapy
Dubstar - Stars

Seems to be a bit of a 90s Britpop thing that Bond could have dipped into a lot more if more films had been made prior to 1997. And why do I keep thinking Blur's "To the End" should have been playing in the background at Elliot Carver's launch party in TND??

Madonna`s "Beautiful Stranger" used in Austin Powers.

Great lyrics that speak for Powers but could equally speak for Bond. Slowed down and done more as a ballad, with a Barry influence, I think that would have been great.

It`s a pity Madonna sung a better song about a comic spy than a more serious one.

I personally think that the upbeat and fun "Beautiful Stranger" is actually a perfect match for Austin Powers. :tup:

The Wanker's Song by Ivor Biggun.

I can just see the title sequence now :tup:

Ask any Bond crew member and they will tell you the significance of this song. Probably as synonymous with Bond as Goldfinger if you've worked on a few Bonds!

You can't leave it at that, ACE. I'm sure plenty know the story - but I don't :D

For My Eyes Only by John Glen p94
Timothy Dalton Revisited by Richard Schenkman, Bondage 16
and numerous conversations with Bond crew members.

At the end of each Bond film, at the Wrap Party, a reel of out-takes from past and the current Bond is stitched together and played to the tune of the aforementioned song. By all accounts, it is hilarious and because it has become an enduring thing amongst the crew, it is fondly remembered.

Thanks for that, ACE.

Now you mention it, it does ring a bell, just couldn't place it at the time. Cheers :tup:
