The film is loaded with Bond references, even snatches of Bondian music. As for Timothy, he appears all too infrequently. But he looks great when he does, slim and fit. He plays it for all it

Heather Locklear, Tim Dalton, and Daleks? Hmmm, I think I want to see this movie now.:)

Heather Locklear looks very sexy in both her tight and revealing outfits! Absolutely delicious.:) She looks like she belongs at an S&M fetish party. The only thing missing is a leather whip!

(I wonder if, in fact, she's a mistress in everyday life and if the outfits are a part of her own wardrobe....Yummy thought!!!)

Glad to see people like Heather Locklear. I've discovered in the world of television, Heather is like Julia Roberts -- there's no bigger star. I admire how she's handled her career.

Heather a real-life mistress? Hmmm...I don't see it. She seems more submissive. Of course, you never know, do you? It's always the quiet ones...

Yeah he looked pretty good. The only thing I didn't like was that in some shots the lighting seemed so harsh on his aging face, whereas in recent interviews his face looks so much better. But that's just me.:)

I wonder if Warners had to get some sort of approval from Danjaq/MGM-UA with respect to those very bondian posters. Not only did the posters look bondian but the names of the "movies" were a play on the names of the 007 movies:
License To Spy
More Is Never Enough
The Spy I Never Knew
Very cute! [/B]

I'm sure that WB's lawyers went to EON's lawyers and paid them well for the permission.:) The Bond references are just too obvious...the spy car, the music, the hilarious movie titles like ones you list (there was also one called OPERATION: CONSPIRACY or somesuch). Plus the use of Tim's Bond pose in a couple of those posters. I nearly fell out of my chair when very early in the film, Fraser's character comes out of the studio offices and into the street and the camera slowly pans backward to show this *GIGANTIC* poster of Damien Drake in one of his spy movies, pointing the gun in typical Bond pose. Oh and then there's that moment when Elfman and Bugs are in the spy car and the car changes their clothes into Bondian outfits. :)

Zencat, you'll definitely appreciate Heather Locklear in this film...she looks very HOT! I know, when doesn't she, but the outfit she wears in the film will get any straight male panting. I've always kind of liked Heather myself mainly because whenever I listen to her talk, she sounds very smart, and she doesn't take herself seriously at all.

One very cheesy moment is a blatant Wal-Mart plug. But it's funny nonetheless.

That photo shows only one of her outfits. I call it the Stripper In Texas outfit. The one that really caught my eye is an all leather body suit. I call it the Yummy S&M Fetish Party Girl outfit.:)

Yes. He looked quite "harsh" under the eyes. Perhaps it was meant to look that way given the strain his character was under at the time. But he did look quite lean and slim. Perhaps even more so than Pierce in Die Another Day.

(message recieved :))

Not that I wouldn't enjoy continuing this conversation, but maybe we need to streer this thread back on topic. Don't want any of our younger members asking their parents what a "bi misstress" or a "submissive" is...

"But it was on CBn, mom!"

No problem, Sens. I've certainly pushed that same envelope with some of my subtext articles.

Now excuse while I'll go off in search of a pic of Heather in her "Yummy S&M Fetish Party Girl outfit." :)

Were you able to find one, Zen?

If so, how about posting it in here?:)

I loved Looney Tunes: Back In Action. I thought it was hilarious, and it was a fun ride - just what you'd expect from Bugs & company.

The references to the Bond movies were great ("More Is Not Enough"), and Timothy was fantastic (although they should have included him in the action a little more rather than just have him as the hostage).

I'm definitely getting the DVD.

Apart from all the Bondian references and Heather's delicious outfits, the 'chase' of the characters into-and-out-of the paintings at The Louvre location is OUTSTANDING.

If ever an Oscar is given for a scene of animation, THAT ought to get it.

Hey, you know... ZenCat and I rented "Looney Toons Back In Action" ...and ya, it's pretty bad. Though I love the Daleks :) and Steve Martin was funny enough and Marvin the Martian rolling down the space craft window and getting sucked out was great. Anywhoooooo...

So the other cool thing was seeing all these mock "SPY" posters with Dalton plastered on them... so... here they are...

So these are sprinkled throughout the movie? Very amusing.

With the last one, if you covered his head from the nose up it looks like John Travolta.

BC, the posters are only in the sceens in the film taking place at the WB lot and in Dalton's characture's house. Which is basically the beginning of the film :)

I have a few more of just him from the film, nothing too interesting but... hell, why not... :)

Thanks for the pics Athena!

It's good to see Dalton again as "Bond agent type". :)
