See, here's the problem. Tony Hawk's Pro skater came out, and it was awesome. Kept adding new features each game, and only got better by the forth one you were skitchin' cars, grinding telephone wires, and jumping over elephants. Two games later, World Destruction Tour, it's just pure insanity, in a good way. Raising the dead, aliens, skating on the Berlin Wall, and so on. Then there's American Wasetland, where you destroy the Hollywood sign. Then comes Skate, a skating "simulation". Great game, loved it, even though I wasn't that good at it. So what does Activision so? "Oh-Em-Gee! We need to be like Skate!" Then we get these crappy THPS games. Project 8, Proving Grounds. Now, in an attempt to 1up Skate, they have a motion controlled skating game, with a skateboard like controller that you use with your feet. And it reportely sucks. So let me say this to Tony Hawk and Activision: STOP TRYING TO BE SKATE!!! Since when was the rule made to to show of the power of a counse; that you have to make a realistic game?! Your THPS, what you're best at is over the top, unrealistic skatboarding! Bring back grinding on telephone wires, over-the-top challenges, stupid-awesome create-a-tricks, and everything else that made the series great. And use the power of the new counsels to help you do it. Be the Devil May Cry of skateboarding games. What I'm saying is: Tony Hawk's Underground: World Destruction Tour 2. It's Tony Hawk, meets Grand Theft Auto, meets DMC-like action. That's a first day game for sure!

ok guys, I've been bitten by the acting bug. Since reading the play, we have acting practice, where we dress up and recite the play as the characters. Since Iago is my favorite character in the play, I've been raising my hand to play him every time we do acting practice! And guess what else? I'm going to be playing Iago in the trials of Othello and Iago that we're going to be performing after Thanksgiving Break (this week)!

If you haven't already done so, watch the 1995 film version of Othello with Laurence Fishburne as Othello and Kenneth Branagh as Iago. Fantastic film adaption.

i know, i really need to see the movie, but i don't want to see it before we finish the book, because you know, it might spoil everything. if we don't watch it in class i'll rent it.

Ticked off that Boondock Saints 2 isn't gonna be in BR anytime soon. Wish I could blame a particular James Bond actor for it but will blame Les Miles instead.
