For anybody celebrating Thanksgiving with turkey, please do not feed it to your pets to be safe.
It contains Tryptohan and will induce excessive sleepiness and potentially fatal if given in large doses in ration to body weight.

(Why do you think we fall asleep after a turkey meal - apart from drinking way too much and trying to pretend to ignore your Auntie Hilda who is yacking away- same effect.)

OK, lecture over, have a great day my American friends!

Oh well yes, certainly never give them the bones. Might choke.

And now that I've eaten supper and mucked about online for most of the evening, I'm off to go clean out my sister's car, which shall become my car as soon as it actually looks like a car again, seeing as she moved away to Ohio and shan't be needing it. HI-HO TENNIS SHOES! AWAY!

Do the Scottish have a fondness for sour cherries?

I don't think so.

But if they did, I think I know what their beer would taste like.

I certainly hope you mean only the UK subsidiary. I love Borders. All of the good local independent shops are used sellers, and every Barnes & Noble I've ever been in has just been awful.

Welcome to North America. Would you like ketchup to go with that frank, or should we just go ahead and throw everything on for you?

I wouldn't dispute that what they serve is technically food. It's the resteraunt part I'm unconvinced by.

I'm watching OHMSS right now, and George Lazenby has a really nice voice. I mean, all of the Bonds do, in my opinion, but Lazenby's is in the top.
