And once again The Carol of the Bells is in my head as I am preparing to sleep. There's probably something immensely wrong there...but it's a nice way to end the evening.

Considerably.

But we wouldn't want it any other way right? B)

Who knows? Speaking of which I need to get on top of sending out applications. Problem is they're all liberal arts schools, so I can forego the essay, but then they want a sampling of my work, and the story I'm working on now is the only not-ancient thing I have handy and it's still a first draft, so it's chalk full of mistakes and the like which will be ironed out when I go to do the second draft. And I am terrible at writing essays. Most banal, stifling...ugh. It's just one big headache. Some days I'm tempted to move out to Montana and buy a tract of land just big enough for a three or four rows of potatoes and a tent.

Tybre, it's that time of evening!
Care to join me?

Who gives crap, who gives a crap.
I really don't, I really don't,
Life is just a bowl of cobblers
Life is just a bowl of cobblers,
Think I'll fry up some bacon,
Then go and watch some Dr Who,
No HP Sauce, No HP Sauce
Whatever will I do? Whatever will I do?
My bacon sarnie really needs it.
Ketchup really doesn't cut it.
Who gives a crap, who gives a crap?

Thanks for the offer, but I doubt I'll need it. Writing and language have long been my forte, although I must admit piracy has always held greater interest. Most of the issues are just the occasional typo or grammar error. I've noticed a few places where I need to flesh things out, but I always save all revisions for subsequent drafts. The first draft is just for getting down the story. I think a part of my writing comes from the book that made me decide to become a writer. Tolkien always wrote for himself, not an audience. Something I used to do, years ago. Now I write just for myself and then I get fellow writers to look at it and I get myself to look over it and I just say "Okay, would this make sense to someone who doesn't have as deep an understanding of this universe as I?" Especially with this story. The narrator has known the protagonist since nearly three years before the story takes place. I plan to someday go back and write about their past, but this is the story that came to mind first, and so this is the story which shall be put to ink first. And I apologise if any of this makes me sound like an B). Bit off tonight.

Grah, yesterday's game still angers me. A draw is better than a loss, but thanks to that draw...7th. 7th in the Premier League. I mean I didn't expect us to repeat 2nd, but 7th? *sigh* At least I can take solace in the fact that the other Reds are only third right now. Liverpool really needs to pull a couple of wins in the next few games. Get us back in the top 5, please...

Personally I like a little corned beef and cheese on my toast. That with a bit of scrambled egg, some bacon, and a nice cup of tea is the perfect way to start the day.

So good you had to post twice eh??? B)

I'm talking about a very, very late night snack my friend not breakfast, for that I choose Alpen (low sugar), some whole wheat toast, a grapefruit (if I have time) and some nice bricklayers tea.

I tend to eat junk around dinnertime if I don't have time to make myself something or have something made (willingly) for me.

The sound of hoof beats 'cross the glade.
Good folk, lock up your son and daughter.
Beware the deadly flashing blade,
Unless you want to end up shorter.

Black Adder, Black Adder. He rides a pitch black steed.
Black Adder, Black Adder. He's very bad indeed.

Black. His gloves of finest mole.
Black. His codpiece made of metal. B)
His horse is blacker than a hole.
His pot is blacker than his kettle.

Black Adder, Black Adder. With many an cunning plan.
Black Adder, Black Adder. You horrid little man!
